Poll: McCaskill Has 15-Point Lead Over Akin In Missouri Senate Race

Source: TPM

Missouri Democratic Senator Claire McCaskill is closing with a big lead, according to a new poll from SurveyUSA and commissioned by four in-state TV stations. McCaskill gets 51 percent of the total, GOP Rep. Todd Akin gets 36 percent, and Libertarian candidate Jonathan Dine sees 8 percent. The same poll shows Republican presidential candidate Mitt Romney winning by 7 points, 50 percent to President Obama's 43 percent.

She's led by 2 - 4 points for many days. But still great news that Akins is not close.

Only one poll is showing a 15 point lead, the rest are showing a 2-6 point lead. I still believe she's going to win, but not by 15 points.

Missouri has/will 'show me'. What I always have known. I was stationed there in 1967. Evil, wickedly racist.

I wonder what he will say on Wednesday after his humiliating defeat after God told him to run and all...Moran.

I live here in MO. and it's going to be down to the wire, that's why, when not at work, I'm still canvassing and phone banking.
The only poll showing McCaskill up by 15 is the SurveyUSA poll, the rest have her up by 2-6 points.

They tried to get Akin to quit and he dug his heels in harder. They are stuck with him now.
