Romney becomes first candidate in 16 years to decline youth debate

That "embed" stuff from RS doesn't work here, apparently.

Here are four paragraphs from your link:

Mitt Romney has become the first major presidential candidate to turn down the Presidential Youth Debate since it began in 1996, according to its organizers.

This year, President Barack Obama answered five questions, including one regarding youth unemployment and another concerning the rising federal debt. Romney, on the other hand, is completely absent from the debate, having declined requests to respond.

“In June both President Obama and Gov. Romney were invited in the hope they would both take this opportunity to address millions of young people about the issues that are most important to them,” the organizer of the debate said in a statement. “Unfortunately, despite our efforts over a four-month period, Gov. Romney declined participation. He is the first and only candidate in our 16-year history to decide not to answer the questions young Americans chose as most important through the Presidential Youth Debate.”

The organizers of the debate said they still hoped Romney would respond before Election Day, noting the importance of Millennials as a voting bloc.

Mittens might have decided to pass on this because the kids are too young to vote, and even if they could, hardly anybody under 50 is interested in him anyhow.

I suspect Mittens also cares little about the future of the GOP - he only wants to get his own sorry plastic self elected, and tough shit for whoever comes later. He'll be off being a god on the planet Kolob, so why should he try to cultivate young future voters in this country on this planet?

Still, it was stupid, and very bad PR.

It's the one thing that is glaringly obvious and yet very few want to mention. I guess that's because it seems like ridiculing a man because of his 'behavior disability'.

He didn't talk to the media for the past month? His VP running mate has been shadowy at best. He is hoping to win with the lease disclosure possible, the least chance that people will figure out his shit.

I think they should have cut the deadline on him not give him til Election Day.

The Pukes and Baggers simply don't want the vast majority of Americans, to truly understand how
BAD this bastard is...and not only knowing him but the Radical and Extreme views and positions
of the crazy freaks in their "party".

It's WAY overdue that "normal" Americans cast these freak Baggers out of every position in every state
as well as at the federal levels.
