Alexander Vindman says Ron Johnson, others have 'blood on their hands' over Russian invasion of Ukra
Source: Milwaukee Journal Sentinel
Former national security aide Alexander Vindman accused Republican U.S. Sen. Ron Johnson and others of having "blood on their hands" as Ukraine withstands a withering assault from Russian troops. In an interview with the Journal Sentinel, Vindman included Johnson on a list with former President Donald Trump, former Secretary of State Mike Pompeo and Fox News host Tucker Carlson, claiming they undermined U.S. national security. "Civilians are dying, Ukrainians are providing a formidable defense, defending democracy for Americans as well as for themselves and their homes. And Ron Johnson is trying to distract and obfuscate," Vindman said. ... Last week, in an interview with Fox News, Johnson blamed Vindman and others for helping embolden Russian president Vladimir Putin. 1. We have to remember that Trump wouldn't even give Zelenskyy a meeting at the White House

5. How can we blame Trump? It was Putin who decided "no meeting".

8. And Johnson went on Fox to say exposing Trump's attempted bullying was 'divisive'
and 'weakened' Ukraine. Wow, as if Ukraine would have appeared to have stronger support from the US if everyone had kept quiet about Trump's extortion.
Choices: (a) keep quiet, and it looks like Trump's extortion (which Putin undoubtedly knew about before impeachment) is accepted by American politicians in general (b) impeach Trump, and show the Democrats actually stand with Ukraine. Who are now the executive. Which one weakens Ukraine, Johnson, you dumb fuck? You can't even construct a logical smear. |

10. Yep. This trip should be brought up daily and names named.
I remember this but I never see it mentioned on TV any longer. Even MSNBC doesn't bring it up. The Moscow 8 wasn't ashamed at the time. I believe they even tweeted about it. Those patriotic Republicans. Doesn't every good American spend the 4th of July in Russia?
It really galls me they try to blame the current mess on Joe Biden and the Democrats. |
