Portland, Oregon--(ENEWSPF)--November 1, 2012. The national Veterans group, with over 220,000 supporters, VoteVets Action Fund, is announcing three new ad buys, totaling $1.25 million. The group will be airing a new ad in Nebraska for $300,000, extending a previous ad buy in Virginia, by $750,000, and airing a new ad in Ohio, at $200,000. This brings total spending in 2012 by VoteVets.org Action Fund to $6.5 million.

NEBRASKA

In Nebraska, VoteVets Action Fund is airing $300,000 in ads that compare the service of Bob Kerrey with Deb Fischer’s craven land-grab attempt. In the ad, a narrator says, “The land of the free, and the home of the brave. These are America’s ideals and Nebraska values. But Deb Fischer turned her back on those values, suing her elderly neighbors to take their land. The court ruled against her greedy land-grab. While fighting for our country, Bob Kerrey was awarded our nation’s highest honor. Bob Kerrey fought to protect our land. Deb Fischer fought to take land that wasn’t hers. Ask Deb Fischer if your land is next.”

The ad refers to a lawsuit that Deb Fischer filed and lost, in which she sued her neighbors in an attempt to take their land for herself.
