Another Republican Group Buys Pennsylvania Air Time

Source: NY Times

Another major Republican player is making a big bet that Mitt Romney has a chance of winning Pennsylvania.

Americans for Prosperity, the conservative advocacy group that is backed by the Koch brothers, will spend $5 million to run commercials there criticizing President Obama.

Pennsylvania has suddenly become a hotbed of action in the presidential race, after appearing largely out of play for the last few months.

* * *

Restore Our Future and Americans for Job Security, two “super PACs” backing Mr. Romney, and the Republican Jewish Coalition are all spending large sums of money to advertise in Pennsylvania.

The Romney campaign and its allies have so much money that they can throw money around on longshots.

It has been President Obama all the way, and nothing has changed now. The Pukes are just wasting their time, money and effort.

Restore Our Future has produced one about The New Normal - as in living with high unemployment, poor economy, etc. It's a nasty piece of work. They seem to think nothing happened in America before 2008.

Will only get you soaked in your own urine. All of the money wasted in PA is money not available in other places. Now, if they really wanted to seem genuinely American, they would send all of that money to FEMA or the Red Cross, but hey, there is no return on the dollar in spending such as that. Never mind........a rediculous thought on my part.

I'll try to note some of the sponsors.

I've seen one with Clint Eastwood narration and another a few minutes later about how bad time are and how we cant afford another 4 years...blah..blah...

There has been very few TV campaign ads so far...

But also one Pro-Casey ad - against "TEA Party Tom Smith" - This race seems hot - Smith has been airing some sort of "Coal Miners Son" ads, Obama will take your way of life...etc..etc.
