In an odd coda to the 2020 election, private contractors conducting a GOP-commissioned recount in Arizona confirmed President Biden’s win in Maricopa County, according to a draft report obtained by The Washington Post.

The twist: The tally actually gives President Biden a slight edge over the official results.

The findings: "After nearly six months and almost $6 million," The Post reports, "the draft report shows that the review concluded that 45,469 more ballots were cast for Biden in Maricopa County than for Trump, widening Biden’s margin by 360 more votes than certified results."

You have to question others motives here by Trump and GOP:

1. Pret-text for other states to do the same and create national momentum for something that takes a life of its own and keeps the base enraged and engaged.
2. To fundraise off of.
3. To enrich individuals.
4. To corrupt Maricopa voting machines; twist the knife into the County for the expense of replacing or question their accuracy moving forard
5. To create content to RW media apparatus
6. Nonsense to feed the Big Lie narrative, regardless what the outcome was - it was the process that provided benefit

Are allowed to take charge of our ballots and machines to do 'audits' of official results, i.e. undermine the authority of the professional government officials to tabulate totals and generally foment distrust in democracy and the voting process.

Next time they'll be demanding these outside audits BEFORE the state's can certify.
