Lawmaker to unveil bill ensuring nothing - 'no airport, no highway, no school'- is named after Trump
Source: The Hill
Rep. Linda Sánchez says she's poised to introduce legislation that would ban virtually everything — "even a bench" — from bearing President Trump's name. “I don't believe that a seditious occupant of the White House should have ever have anything named after him," the California Democrat said of Trump in an interview with People published Monday, referring to Trump's efforts to cast doubt on the results of the 2020 election and his words of encouragement to a crowd of supporters before they laid siege to the Capitol on Wednesday. “I don't think that he deserves any of the benefits that are conferred on prior presidents,” Sánchez said. "I am working on a bill that would mean that nothing — not even a bench, no airport, no highway, no school — nothing — ever bear the name of this traitor." -snip- Read more: https://thehill.com/blogs/in-the-know/in-the-know/533647-lawmaker-to-unveil-bill-ensuring-nothing-no-airport-no-highway

After a monthslong, playful spat between the mayor of Danbury and the HBO host, the town renamed a sewage plant in the comedian’s honor.

19. Sewage procesing facilities do a pubic good- unlike Trump
Trump spews sewage from his mouth-anus. So I must strongly disagree. However, I propose putting his face on public urinals and in public toilet bowls (such as those in airports, bus stations, rail stations, etc.).

to the state gov. rep. in a neighboring district about this! She has some idea that a section of Interstate highway that goes through there should be named for him. Part of her "reasoning" was that other parts of the highway are dedicated to Obama and Rosa Parks.
I told her it would be a better idea to dedicate it to the people who died from Covid or even the capitol police who was killed in the pro-trump raid on the capitol. |

Sorry to yell, but I believe this should be the only way he is memorialized, and I am passionate about this.
The ONLY memorial to this man, and I mean that to exclude any kind of Library as well, should be along the lines of the “memorial” to Benedict Arnold, which is nothing more than a stone carving of a cavalryman's boot. The monument commemorates Major General Benedict Arnold's service at the Battles of Saratoga in the Continental Army, but does not name him. ![]() https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Boot_Monument If I had my way, his monument would be nothing more than a carving of a Flannel Moth Caterpillar.
