White House Official Recovers From Severe Covid-19, Friend Says

Source: Bloomberg

A White House official who fell ill with Covid-19 in September is recovering after three months in the hospital, though he lost his right foot and lower leg in his battle against the virus, according to a friend.

Crede Bailey, the director of the White House security office, was the most severely ill among dozens of Covid-19 cases known to be connected to the White House. Bailey’s family has asked the White House not to publicize his condition, and President Donald Trump has never publicly acknowledged his illness.

Bailey’s friends have raised more than $30,000 for his rehabilitation through a GoFundMe account. The White House declined to say whether Trump has contributed to the effort.

“Crede beat COVID-19 but it came at a significant cost: his big toe on his left foot as well as his right foot and lower leg had to be amputated,” Dawn McCrobie, who organized the GoFundMe effort for Bailey, wrote Dec. 7.

Didn't he get the million dollar treatment that tRump, Ghouliani, and Christie got so they could claim it is just the flu?

Does Bailey still call it a hoax? (assuming he toed tRump line in White House)

He’s not a young, nor a slim man.

And government insurance is not gold- plated; there are deductibles and co-pays, and upper level employees get the same insurance choices as lower level ones.

without any pull. In the hospital since September, friends set up a GoFundMe account for staggering medical bills, he lost a big toe on one foot and his other foot and lower leg were amputated. A hurting unit. The article says he was a huge Trump supporter, but I wonder what he says.

6. Regeneron only works within the first few days of symptoms, before you develop a cytokine storm.

This guy got Covid-19 over 3 months ago. Not sure Regeneron existed back then. Trump got his Regeneron two months ago. But regardless, this staffer wasn't part of Trump's inner circle, so he was screwed like the rest of us.

2. It's old news and speculation, but. . .

. . .the question of what Robert Trump's "undisclosed" fatal illness was keeps popping into my head. He was certainly a person with the sort of fragile health that put him at enormous risk of death from COVID.

If Robert did die of COVID, confirmation of this would certainly have completely undermined DT's "no big deal" propaganda during his own illness 7 weeks later.

Nick Cordero, Broadway actor who battled COVID-19, has died at age 41, wife says
By Caroline Linton
Updated on: July 6, 2020 / 7:15 PM / CBS News

Broadway actor Nick Cordero, who had been hospitalized for three months and had his leg amputated after contracting the coronavirus, has died, his wife, Amanda Kloots, said Sunday. He was 41.

...

Cordero was hospitalized three months ago for what doctors initially said was pneumonia, but Kloots posted on Instagram on April 1 that they believed he had been misdiagnosed and had COVID-19.

After he was sedated in the ICU for 18 days, his leg was amputated. He also went into septic shock, had a lung infection and had a temporary pacemaker put in.

with leg amputation and then he later died.

So sad. And of course Trump will not even want to look at him because he's scummy like that.
