U.S. sees over 69,000 new virus cases - the most in a single day since July

Source: CBS News

The United States has now seen its highest number of new COVID-19 cases since July, with more than 69,000 new cases reported nationwide on Friday.

In Wisconsin, one in every four coronavirus tests are coming back positive. Residents are being asked to avoid gatherings even political ones, Michael George reports for "CBS This Morning: Saturday."

Dr. Bob Freedland, along with other Wisconsin doctors, stepped up Friday to urge the cancellation of President's Trump's rally Saturday night in the state.

2. What is Crazy Is That Tests Per 1000 In Many States Have Gone Down, Yet Cases Are Up

Also, the positivity rates are going through the roof. This is a direct consequence of Republicans to try to cover up the virus based on Trump's argument that if you test less, you will have less cases.

3. Here in PA today, the state reported almost 1,900 cases as of yesterday midnight cutoff

which pretty is close or blew past our peak from back in early April.

From Johns Hopkins (am guessing the link is dynamic so it would change daily) -
