Minnesota Republicans fly Delta home from D.C. after COVID-19 exposure
Source: Star Tribune
Minnesotas three Republican congressmen flew home on a Delta flight from Washington, D.C., Friday night, despite airline restrictions on passengers recently exposed to COVID-19-positive people such as President Donald Trump.
U.S. Reps. Pete Stauber, Tom Emmer and Jim Hagedorn all tested negative for COVID-19 on Friday after traveling with Trump on Air Force One to and from a Duluth rally on Wednesday.

The three were to arrive at the Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport on a Delta flight Friday night.
Delta policy states that the airline will not allow anyone knowingly exposed to COVID-19 in the past 14 days to travel. Health experts advise a 14-day quarantine after close exposure to someone with COVID-19 even if an initial test proves negative.

(4,482 posts)You need to stop for gas, stop for food, bathroom breaks, etc, and at that distance, probably stop to sleep.
stop for gas - pay at pump / credit card
stop for food - drive thru w/ mask
bathroom breaks - side of the road and use an empty rest stop
sleep - car

(22,100 posts)standing after these elections should be thrown out of office and never allowed again, to hold public office. It's seems like the entire republican party has swallowed a 'hate all fellow human beings' pill or a 'hate all other Americans' pill. Where is the compassion and concern for one's fellow human being? Where's the concern for NOT infecting others with a deadly disease, the tests themselves aren't perfect, thus why so many positive cases are finally determined after multiple tests.
