Barrett's participation in 2006 ad calling for overturn of Roe v. Wade was not included in Senate di

Source: NBC News

WASHINGTON — President Donald Trump's Supreme Court nominee, Judge Amy Coney Barrett, failed to disclose her participation in a 2006 newspaper ad calling for Roe v. Wade to be overturned and ending its “barbaric legacy” when she submitted paperwork to the Senate Judiciary Committee.

Two Democratic committee aides confirm to NBC News that the two-page ad published in the South Bend Tribune, which included her name in a long list of those in support, was not disclosed in the Senate forms required of judicial nominees but maintain it should have been. They say it should have been included in the response to a question in those forms asking for citations of “books, articles, reports, letters to the editor, editorial pieces or other published material you have written or edited.”

“The ad should have been included in Judge Barrett’s Senate Judiciary Questionnaire and was not,” one of the two aides said, asking not to be named in order to speak freely about the questionnaire. The aide also said that Barrett did not include her participation in the ad in her Senate disclosures for her 2017 circuit court appointment.

3. Just another perjurious judge jammed onto the courts by the GOP

In a functioning democracy, she would be impeached from her present lifetime appointment that was jammed through by trump and moscow mitch but, instead, off she goes to the supreme court to carry out their agenda of destruction.

11. Not Really

McConnell can ram it through in a lame duck session, even if he loses his seat and the 2021 Senate is controlled by Democrats. And there have been cases where a SC Justice was confirmed in the lame duck session but, I believe, they were all cases where the sitting President was re-elected. Lincoln did that in December 1864 after he had been re-elected.

4. Ask her about it now

When she lies under oath the Republican party will do nothing and confirm her.

But come January when we have a real doj, both she and kavanaugh can be arrested for lying to congress. Then impeached and remove. Finally, send their crazy asses to prison.

9. Funny how an opinion like that slipped her mind! A real snake in the grass. She's probably

just so confident she'll be confirmed. Hope it never happens...
