Mask-skeptic pastor gets Covid-19 and infects other church staff

Source: CNN

Paul Van Noy, senior pastor at Candlelight Church in Coeur d'Alene, has spent two weeks in the hospital with a Covid-19 diagnosis, ministry coordinator Eric Reade confirmed to CNN. Five other church staff were infected with coronavirus, too, but they've all recovered, he said.

In a comment shared through Candlelight Church, Van Noy said he'll soon move out of the ICU into another room in the hospital and then recover at home.

"At present I feel OK but still need quite a bit of oxygen support -- especially if and when I try to get up out of the bed," he said in a statement through the church.

His wife also contracted Covid-19 but wasn't hospitalized, according to the church. The couple are two of over 3,050 cases in the Northwest Idaho area, local health data shows.

Lord, make them truly a model to others and may their suffering be long and agonizing, so that others who bear the Mark of Stupid, Callous, Self-righteous and/or Self-Centered will see the error of their ways

Or don't have to spare. I'm a little fuzzy on the math of womps, tbh.

Assuming “womp womp” is equal to 2Xwomp them for any womp > 1.41421356 (approximately), then womp to the power of womp will be greater then womp womp.

So, where womp = 0, womp to the power of womp also = 0, which I assume is how many fucks you have to spare...

but I'm not optimistic, at all.

It does sound like it's going to be a while before the preacher can wheeze out any hellfire and damnation.

Covid is no joke. Even my mild case of "presumptive" wasn't, it took forever go get rid of the cough.

If he thought he didn't need a mask, then he doesn't need medical care, either.

More to the point, is he going to require mask wearing at services now? If not, he's an immoral ignoramus who really, really doesn't deserve medical care.

I am very familiar with Pastor Van Noy. He runs the biggest church in Cd’A. His politics are about six notches to the right of Attila the Hun.

Anyway, after they dragged Van Noy off to the ICU, a 24-hour-a-day vigil sprung up outside the hospital. No one wore a mask or socially distanced.

Then they should smell their hands, and lick them. It's what gawd wants.

Eff him. Seriously. If he lives, he has a chance to redeem himself and be a positive influence on others, but we know that's not going to happen so if he dies, he just makes the world a better place.

The ones that survived that is. No admission they were wrong. No apology to those that were infected because of their irresponsible attitude.

Of course we know why. Because then they'd have to admit that they heard God wrong that it was all harmless. That they were rather, if they stuck by the themes of their religion, deceived by the Devil. And that Devil worked though Trump. And theyve already gone all in on their King Percy, their God anointed leader that will usher in a new Christian age where.....gall dang it, no one will make fun of us no more!

Some experience intense fatigue after being released from the hospital. This is often due to undetected heart muscle damage which is not always checked for, and thus remains undetected. Maybe this jerk will try to over-extend himself too early, and then “grace” some other plane of existence with his august presence.
