Obama announces first wave of 2020 endorsements

Source: The Hill

Former President Obama announced his first batch of 2020 endorsements on Monday, giving support to Democrats looking to defend or flip seats in multiple tight races.

“I’m proud to endorse this diverse and hopeful collection of thoughtful, empathetic, and highly qualified Democrats. Together, these candidates will help us redeem our country’s promise by sticking up for working class people, restoring fairness and opportunity to our system, and fighting for the good of all Americans — not just those at the top,” Obama said in an announcement published on Medium.

1. Twitter is ablaze (particularly from one "wing" of the Democratic Party) because of some names....

....that are missing.

They skipped RIGHT over the part about "first wave"!

This is the way he's done it in the past, for the most part endorsing those in most vulnerable or close races first. There will be more coming in the next weeks or month.

15. Yes, and there will be more. The funny (uninformed) thing is that Justice Democrats...

...are on Twitter complaining that Obama didn't bother to endorse Chuck Schumer!!

Excuse us, Schumer isn't running until 2022.

18. Now that is hilarious.

They run around endorsing candidates of their choosing, Dem Socialist's to primary sitting Democrats and they don't even know when candidates are actually able to run for office. Sad , they don't seem to be politically aware. They just have an agenda.

I remember when Guy Molinari was walking his daughter up the aisle, he stopped to shake Bob Dole's hand.
