The head of New York state’s Police Benevolent Association raged at a Tuesday press conference that the media and state legislators were “vilifying” police “like animals and thugs,” despite police interactions around the country being “overwhelmingly positive.”

Pressure. Now they know what it feels like to be on the other end. Clean up your house! no one expects cops to be perfect they are human beings. But the bad cops are really rotting all cops. Not showing up to the next crime or not being around when a politician (or their family) is being threatened. After all, how can they do their job if they are prohibited from using force?

As I've said elsewhere, this is another reason I don't like unions. Too often they are all about "having your back" even for those who don't deserve it. And often they look the other way when the offense is perpetrated against another less senior union member.
