In an annual letter to shareholders, Dimon said, “As a nation, we were clearly not equipped for this global pandemic, and the consequences have been devastating.”

Dimon predicted a “bad recession” as the fallout. The worst-case scenario could see unemployment as high as 14% and gross domestic product plunging at a 35% annual rate in the second quarter, he warned.............................

1. Could it be that Big Business could shun Trump over all this?

That would be a game changer as the election approaches.

9. Hoover had three years in office to combat the Great Depression.

His policies failed. Many business tycoons backed Roosevelt in 1932 as a result.

It can happen.

Anyone who turns on this cheap thug is welcome to do so, and helpful when he or she does.

7. When big money tells Rs they are done and won't support them.

Mitch and cohorts will turn on him in a minute. Let's hope some other big money says enough.

8. He thought drumpfs' right wingers were in it like him, just for the money.

He didn't know how utterly stupid and incompetent and psychotic drumpf and his minions are, he didn't expect that they were truly malevolent and wanted to kill off the working class/poor so they could reorder our country into a fascist state for and by the oligarchs. It will be interesting to see if gets back on the train or if he truly realizes how horrible these asswipes are.

10. I don't have confidence that Mr. Dimon has any pretense of decency to claim

in the first place. He's one of them and he has been backing the last couple decades of our decline. Lip service only goes so far. I'll accept change in the Wall Streeters when I see action on their part.

11. Jamie Dipshit

He badmouths government that taxes him fairly so government can work properly and then he badmouths government that's left inept because it gives him massive tax breaks. What a loser.

13. Gee, Trump just praised him yesterday.

Under the bus now, wait and see. If Trump dares attack Dimon.
