2. Yes, that guy.

The clip went viral. "If I get corona, I get corona. At the end of the day, Iím not gonna let it stop me from partying," Brady Sluder, a spring breaker in Miami, said last week.

Now, as the United States is at about 55,000 cases of the coronavirus, including more than 780 deaths, and is on track to become the new epicenter of the pandemic, he has revised his message: "Donít be arrogant and think youíre invincible like myself."

3. posting 1st couple of paragraphs from the linked article

On Monday, Sluder posted a lengthy apology on his Instagram, first reported by the Cincinnati Enquirer, in which he said he "wasnít aware of the severity of my actions."

Of course, the 22-year-old from Milford, Ohio, has elderly people in his life whom he "adores." He didnít want to put anyone at risk. Now, he understands how serious the virus is and is encouraging people to follow the recommended guidelines on how to stay safe and reduce risk. Most of all, heís sorry.

Sluder's apology comes as more and more people are focusing their attention on how young people are responding to the virus, with the term "COVIDIOT," being used to describe some actions, especially since the news broke that at least six University of Tampa students tested positive after returning from spring break.

After initial reports that young people are largely unaffected by the disease, itís increasingly clear that they are not only affected by the virus, but can also get very sick from it ó even fatally so. It leaves many wondering: are spring breakers like Sluder to blame for their previous blasť attitude, or is it more the fault of governments for not communicating the severity of the situation?

David Anzarouth, who is recovering from COVID-19, the disease caused by the coronavirus, went to Miami in early March for vacation. Ten days later, the 25-year-old from Toronto was in a hospital emergency room with the virus, feeling "the most incredible pain that I've ever experienced," according to the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation.

4. or, more likely, he realizes how f'd he is in the job market when he finally gets out of skul.....

Michael Dell personally tweeted than anyone in that video need not apply to Dell Tech. Believe me, HR teams keep track of this stuff, and he and all of his dox'd buddies will find a very cold shoulder in the corporate world if they ever send an application that way.

Of course he is sorry. He is f'd. He got exposed. They all did. What did they think would happen, billion dollar ceo's would think they were cool and invite them over to party?

Dumbasses.

Thanks for the story text....

13. Unfortunately, he

is being protected - BIGLY. His aides are lobbying the UN, to put all the blame on China for this virus. tRump is lucky he ran as an (R), since as a (D) the gop would have impeached him long ago. Before the election results were announced, the gop was preparing impeachment papers for Hillary. The gop does NOT approve of intelligent people in the WH. They fight to the bitter end. tRump is dumb, arrogant, ignorant ass, just the type of president the gop approves of. Rand Paul is a fine example of a republican. He KNEW he may possibly be infected, yet swam, exercised and ate with his "friends" at the gym. Inconsiderate little man.

10. GOOD!

The stupid asses should be held accountable...grow the fuck up. This is a good lesson for them as they are striving to become responsible adults. Stay in college...you are not smart enough to be in any job market for a very long time. Selfishness will get no pity from me and I do not forgive them. I do not forgive and forget actions like this. Karma dude, karma!

15. Sometimes I pity reporters.

I mean, they can write things like this:
After initial reports that young people are largely unaffected by the disease, itís increasingly clear that they are not only affected by the virus, but can also get very sick from it ó even fatally so

It's like saying, "After being told that most people aren't affected, we know that's false--some are affected, and a very small number may die."

Meaning that "most" must mean "all"? That "some" is a very large number and must contradict "most"?

We're not talking calculus here. We're talking pre-school numeracy. And they either really don't get it, or decide that sensationalism or politics are more important.

Either way, pity.

And some mockery. Again, they'd fail pre-school math while acting like they're really at the top of the smarts scale.

11. He'd better hope he lives to "learn to be better..." A lot of people won't get that chance. And that

thing currently infesting the White House wants to open everything up in 2 weeks.

I knew that thing would be a clusterfuck of epic proportions, but even I didn't think he'd fuck up this badly. Silly me. He's murdered every business he's ever touched; now he's murdering actual people. What a goddamned disaster.

14. Blame governor DeSantis, not stupid college kuds

He was in a position to save maybe 100,000 lives and didnít.

All the news channels Rut-Rut about the drunken stupid college kids. Why arenít they badgering the governor over not cancelling spring break? He chose money over lives.

Donít say another word about abortion, Ronnie.

Right wingers feel entitled to force a woman to go through 9 months of sacrifice, body-altering processes and risk of trauma. But preventing people from gathering in crowds is seen as an overreaction.

16. Right. Find somebody who it's convenient to place the blame on.

Rather than the college kids who saw the reports that it was a bad thing and decided that since it wasn't banned it must be encouraged.

Because the idea of being responsible is stupid--we must be made to do things, and if we're not ordered to behave then there are limits on what we can do ... Because we really outsource our values, morals, and thinking to those who can. Unlike us, apparently.

They need keepers, somebody to monitor their actions, behavior, and keep them under guard lest they do something wrong. (And we think they should be allowed to vote, the anti-information voters? Or do we think they should be allowed to vote, but first we'll tell them who to vote for?)

17. Do you remember in college paying attention to the news every week?

I didnít, very much. Busy with labs, tests, projects, homework, socializing, doing laundry, packing for spring break. What they heard about it, may have been ďit doesnít affect young peopleĒ .

DeSantis has a staff of people and was told how risky it was and he was chose not to care.

I blame the kids the same way I blame the people going to church. I blame DeSantis the way I blame the megachurch preachers who are still holding services.

Both types are responsible. But DeSantisí responsibility is to all the people of Florida. He is getting paid to make those decisions. He chose poorly.

22. I agree with you completely but I wonder about those kids' parents. If my kids even uttered that I'd

have been on their butts bigtime. My granddaughters are moaning and groaning about their spring break and (with one) her graduation ceremony being cancelled. I don't blame the one whose grad is cancelled. That is so special and can't be replaced. Also, all those parents and grandparents who cancelled their hotel reservations.

20. Spring Break has always been followed by regrets

How many spring-breakers have come back from the break over the years,

hungover

broke

sunburned

alone.

Now, to those, we add: doxxed as an idiot, a permanent shit-stain on my resume, a laughing-stock at this years Thanksgiving dinner.

I'd rather step on a sea urchin than be doxxed like that moran.
