Conservative ‘Super PACs’ Synchronize Their Messages
Source: NY Times
Independent political groups have long been the guerrilla warriors of presidential elections, tossing explosive advertisements into the middle of a campaign like hand grenades, with little regard for the strategy of the candidate they support. But this year, in a tight race that leaves very little room for error, the conservative “super PACs” and other outside entities working to defeat President Obama have reached a consensus: Going off message is simply too risky. So they operate largely from the same playbook, sharing polling data and focus group research to develop many of the same lines of attack. And they are being careful to keep their efforts consistent with the themes being emphasized by Mitt Romney’s campaign. The result is a striking degree of symmetry. To see many of the anti-Obama ads that have run on television recently, it would be easy to conclude that they were made in the same studios, by the same producers working for the same campaign. Read more: http://www.nytimes.com/2012/09/25/us/politics/conservative-super-pacs-sharpen-their-synchronized-message.html?google_editors_picks=true&_r=0 I thought SuperPACs were supposed to be independent and not coordinated with the campaign they are supporting. Yet, all these rightwing SuperPACs all seem to sing from the same hymn sheet.

1. Sometimes repetition works.. sometimes you can just tune it out.
And anything on TIVO or any other kind of DVR can be fast forwarded through.
Plenty money down the drain there.. It's like the never ending list of side effects on the more "modern" new meds commercials... |

2. Cut em off at the path. This is when Obama's campaign needs to expose their mind game ads
BEFORE them.

3. The filthy rich are above the law
They always have been and always will be as long as we have a big for sale sign on Washington DC and the supreme fascist court.

4. Hackers get ready. Start practicing now to ensure a free and FAIR election. Don't let them steal
it this time. Redirect the path of the votes so they are going to the correct tallying station. Block the way of the unpatriotic cheats trying to switch them. We're counting on you, 99%ers. You're doing a fantastic job, in my eyes. Keep hope alive. We've got to take back this country and expose these crooks who care nothing for the people, the country, or the environment. Go, Obama! I will send some money again as soon as I get paid Friday.

5. This might work if they weren't trying to sell a piece of rotten sausage
If they had an even slightly appealing ticket, attacking the president might get them over the top.
The candidates they are running are: (1) stupid (Ryan trying to convince the AARP his Vouchercare plan is a good idea; Romney comes up with a new one every day) (2) condescending (Romney going into dark, dark makeup for his Univision interview, and filling the audience with Caucasian teabaggers wasn't such a hot idea either) and, our favorite, (3) so evil and corrupt they make Nixon and Agnew look like saints |
