A Florida man who is the ringleader of a group that has hounded the families of victims of the Sandy Hook school shooting was arrested early Monday morning by sheriffs and charged with unlawful possession of personal identification of another person.

Wolfgang Halbig has spent years trying to show the shooting was a hoax and that the 20 children who died were actually actors -- as recently as the last few weeks he posted photos of children that he claimed were actually current photos of the victims. Halbig was arrested at 1:39 a.m. at his Sorrento, Florida home, according to the police report.

Halbig is accused of publishing and circulating Pozner’s personal information including his social security number and home address. Pozner has moved several times since leaving Connecticut after the shooting.

Halbig is also a defendant in the civil lawsuit filed by Sandy Hook victims families against Alex Jones, the host of the Infowars internet radio program. The families are suing Jones for claiming the attack on Sandy Hook Elementary School that claimed the lives of 20 first graders and six educators was a hoax, and argue that he profited by spreading the hoax claim.

What continues to shock me is how cock-sure they are of their view point. That they continue to harass and bully the survivors and families of the dead is just sick. The lunatic that calls himself "side thorn" is nothing but a bully with a foul mouth. That seems to be one of the requirements for these people. Their outrage at being called out for their harassment and denial of the facts in these events just reinforces their inability to feel anything but hate, cloaked in belligerence and vulgarity.

My niece is a survivor of the Marjorie Stoneman Douglas Highschool Massacre. She was in the classroom next door to the room where many students died. She knew every one of the dead students. They were her friends, peers and classmates. I've written about this on DU many times. We are coming up on the two year anniversary of the shooting. We are all holding our collective breath as we brace for another onslaught by the media to "see how the community has held up." It would be better if they left Parkland alone. All their reporting does is rip open the wounds that remain still open and bring out the nutbags like those in this video.

My niece continues to recover, but it will be a life-long struggle. She will never be the same bubbly, carefree ray of sunshine that she once was. She still has nightmares. She still has flashbacks. She still can't handle loud, sudden, sharp noises. She is still in therapy.

Alex Jones and all of his carbon copycat peers will burn in Hell for what he and they have done to the people whose lives have been irrevocably altered by mass gun violence. I live with that justice.
