I'm so glad Chump has this project to occupy his mini-mind, and hopefully keep him put of bigger plans. Thank heavens there's nothing more important for our government to concentrate on than recycling old army uniforms to suit up the Space Force and designing a new (?) logo.

You pasted the link into the middle of "Read more: Link to source", which is the boilerplate instruction that DU puts in the field to assist the poster (you). Instead of pasting over that, instead of erasing that and pasting in the link, you have inserted your link in the middle of the word "source", so that it appears that the internet protocol is "sohttps" instead of "https". This may confuse some browsers. It also means that "urce" has been appended to your link, but that doesn't seem to affect it on my browser, but the MSNBC server you have linked to might serve up different stuff or refuse to serve to other locales because of what you have caused to be appended.

You can edit your post to correct that. We can't do it for you.

Please proofread the entirety of your posts before or after posting. It saves many of your readers a lot of trouble.

If your Source is The Hill, you shouldn't link to MSNBC.
If your link is to MSNBC, then you shouldn't state The Hill as the Source.

If one writer takes a few seconds effort, it saves lots of time for hundreds of readers. Or are you writing for your own benefit?

Re post 40, the error you point out is DU's fault. See my post replying to that.

It was clear from the nature of your error that it was sloppiness and inattention on your part that created it, followed up by a lack of proofreading that would have caught the problem, plus a further lack of proofreading after the problem was pointed out to you by another poster.

I could have used other adjectives/adverbs with the same inescapable meaning but you would object to them too.

At this point it appears you are ready to criticize several things but not willing to invest the time to actually provide useful help.

There is no error in the link, but the post it links to is flawed because of a change DU made.

That is not my fault. That is DU's fault. DU used to support font tags when I wrote that in 2017, about 34 months ago.

Since then DU changed their code to deactivate font tags.

But of course you did not supply the solution the way I did, just pointed out a problem.

I thought Space Force was a separate branch, independent of the USAF.

Oh right. If something can be screwed up, Moron et al will find a way.

It is organized as a military service branch within the Department of the Air Force.
just as the Marines are a component of the Navy.

It doesn't have Department of the Navy on it.

Yes, in times of declared war, the Corps is placed under the Navy, WWI and WWII. However, it is still a separate branch of the armed forces.

If Space Farce is under USAF control, then it should be a major air command.

tRump administration will be in charge? Another big money pit for taxpayer money. The Pentagon is swimming in billions of $$$, enough so tRump can take a few for his wall. They also can not account for billions more, so money is no object. Jared should be able to run this in his spare time. Maybe Beavis and Butthead are tired of Iwanka getting all the cushy jobs, so one of them can run this? Since they claim the tRump organization had to shut up shop while the Jenius is in the WH, they need something to keep them busy?

To support another program by the yellow haired idiot...

Reagan's Star Wars. On March 23, 1983, President Reagan proposed the creation of the Strategic Defense Initiative (SDI), an ambitious project that would construct a space-based anti-missile system. This program was immediately dubbed "Star Wars."

The ambitious and costly program, dubbed “Star Wars,” is now in its fourth decade, having consumed $209 billion while never being tested, even on a limited scale, in the heat of battle. May 26, 2013
