Rudy Giuliani publicly shamed GOP counsel Steve Castor on Twitter in response to a question he asked U.S. Ambassador to the European Union Gordon Sondland during Wednesdays House impeachment hearing. Republican lawyer doesnt do his own research and preparation, and is instead picking up Democrat lies, shame, Giuliani tweeted. His Twitter attack came in response to an earlier question asked by Castor. Did you know that Rudy Giuliani has private business interests in Ukraine? the GOP counsel asked Sondland, who answered that he was not aware. In his tweet, Giuliani went on to insist that he has no financial interests in Ukraine and would appreciate his apology.
In Sondlands opening statement, he put President Trumps personal lawyer at the center of the pressure campaign on Ukraines president to carry out Trumps political agenda. We did not want to work with Giuliani, Sondland testified. He emphasized that he only collaborated with Giuliani at Trumps orders.

(5,989 posts)But he is still in denial.
All of Trump's people are expendable in Trump's eyes.
Rudy is looking more and more like the fall guy every day.
Pretty soon Trump will say he hardly knew him...that he was a minor player on his legal team.
That he was a loose cannon; that he had gone rogue; that it was all his doing.
Trump will say he didn't realize what Rudy was up to.
He will say/do anything to push the blame onto someone else.

President Trump is welcome to take a seat right there.
I'm quite sure that invitation goes out to Rudy as well...

(2,146 posts)But I bet his "insurance" implicates Pompeo (State Dept), Mulvaney, etc. and MANY other players, BUT not Trump. And Trump will throw them all under the bus together. He may think together they can stand up to Trump to save themselves, but they won't. They'll eat each other alive.
