'Mr. Tough Guy': Trump delivers vicious takedown of Bolton

Source: Politico

President Donald Trump on Wednesday savaged former national security adviser John Bolton one day after unceremoniously dismissing him via Twitter — blasting his hawkish ex-aide’s hard-charging brand of diplomacy and partly blaming him for launching the Iraq War.

In a winding assessment of his tenure atop the White House’s National Security Council, delivered to reporters assembled in the Oval Office, Trump alternated between vicious criticism of Bolton and an insistence that they had maintained a warm working relationship.

“John is somebody that I actually get along with very well. He made some very big mistakes,” Trump said, repeatedly referencing Bolton’s invocation of a “Libya model” for North Korean denuclearization in April 2018.

“It set us back, and frankly, he wanted to do things not necessarily tougher than me,” Trump said. “You know, John’s known as a tough guy. He's so tough, he got us into Iraq. That’s tough.”

1. I heard most of the discussion. More than his opinion of bolton, people should be chilled to the

bone to hear the rambling mess of his thoughts...incoherent, conflicted, inarticulate, hateful, self-aggrandizing. Scary.

5. Yes. "rambling lunatic"...

or words to that effect, should precede his name in every instance.

2. Bolton is a mean bastard who's been infamous around DC for years

due to his belligerence and his penchant for infighting and back-stabbing. Trump's got a big fat back that's ripe for stabbing, and Bolton is certain to do it sooner or later. Probably sooner.

14. They've already confiscated Bolton's home computer and documents

Whatever Bolton was saving to stab Chump with is probably gone now. Unless he was smart enough to make backups of everything. Chump caught him by surprise for that very reason, is my guess.

15. Most documents he might have had would probably be classified anyhow

since he was working with national security matters. What's important is what he knows and what he can tell about working in Trump's WH. It sounds like he's planning on dishing at some point.

4. Long Line of Con Tough Guys

My Dad served with distinction in WWII. While Father was at war for those years his classmates claimed hardships (some of whom later affiliated with the R's): he found upon his return they had "bought the good farmland and married the pretty girls" back home. Farming was in his blood, after the War looking to get setup, all he found was some small bottom land plots while his ne'er-do-well elderly bother (hardship-age/family leader) got the homestead.

Incensed he came to hate all "them guys" avoiding war action especially those getting billing as Tough Guys and making fortunes off the act. Marion Morrison (John Wayne), "Bad Eyes" Reagan and many more of their ilk. Dead for exactly 20 years now he would have utterly despised Trump and his tough guy act. Tough guy has never-ever got his hands dirty, never physically built a thing, never saw hardships and NEVER served.

6. Trump might have bitten the rattlesnake this time. Bolton will have no reservations about telling

the world how batshit crazy Trump and his merry band of grifters are.

7. President Slander, always the 1st to insult.

If you defend yourself, you're wrestling in the mud with a pig.

He's a plague. He won't stop until he's in the grave.

8. Something caught my eye in this report...the pos says..

He made some very big mistakes,” Trump said, repeatedly referencing Bolton’s invocation of a “Libya model” for North Korean denuclearization in April 2018. Then goes on to say...“It set us back"..

Is the pos playing the blame game, again..Bolton is the reason we don't have friendly relations with Kim UN??..his fragmented, demented, thought process??

Bolton wanted to do things not necessarily tougher than me..WTF does that mean...you know what..nether mind..just musing...

The never be accountable, always someone else's fault pathology....

9. He was one of the disrupters bussed down to FL in 2000 to bang on the doors and disrupt the recount

He has been rewarded ever since. They take care of the GOP family. He and W, Rummy, Cheney, and others of their ilk who stole an election and engaged in "nation building" all deserve some time at the Hague. Check out the list of accomplices at Project for A New American Century. It was all part of the plan and they got away with murder. Now Trump has issues with Bolton? Give me an f'n break.

I can't make any sort of sense out of this gobbledygook.

Fucking scatter-brained imbecile.
