The documents must be posted by 11:00 am eastern on Thursday, July 18,

Judge William H. Pauley of the Southern District of New York wrote in a decision released Wednesday.

“The campaign finance violations discussed in the Materials are a matter of national importance. Now that the Government's investigation into those violations has concluded, it is time that every American has an opportunity to scrutinize the Materials,” Judge Pauley wrote.

3. I wish I could believe that they will change anything

But I don't. The man really is immune from everything.

Also, I wonder if his lawyers will be taking some kind of court action to stop the release.

15. I think that we should not be saying that tRump is "immune" or everything drops off

him "like teflon." The more we say that, the more people just accept it and so it continues. It becomes a fact in more peoples minds. It is NOT an acceptable thing.

4. If these documents show that Barr shut down

the investigation he needs to do some explaining. Maybe another reason to impeach Barr.

8. I thought Barr's behind-the-scenes pressure caused this drop, which enraged Pauley. The

published redactions could also move Pelosi closer to allowing the start of formal impeachment inquiry.

Mueller testimony. That's why he planned his rally so he could deflect attention to him. He will probably do another rally next week for the same reason.

16. Haha. Yes. I hope so, too. But hey, he was born for this. He'll die trying to do what he's doing now

Can you imagine how much money he'll make as a former president, running this poison called Republican politics?

He will embody the worst of global branding used to capture democracies. He'll thrive.

Disgusting. But electoral college elections have consequences.

19. Only a higher court can do this. What's a higher federal court to stop this? Name it. When a

prosecutor drops a case, they drop all claims to what the judge does with the documents.

The documents then belong to whomever the judge determines they serve the public interest in such a national case, under the law, and not the claimant.

25. We don't know all of them. These redactions must name names, is what I'm thinking. It's a big deal

when it comes to what the First Branch can now do, publicly, and how media sees the wisdom of courts, and The Law.

We'll see.

Trump supporters will see what an asshole he is, and lose support for him.

NOT.

They consider Stormy Daniels to be a prostitute who simply asked for more money after the deed was done. Anybody who cares about the morality of this situation has already left Trump a long time ago.

26. Yes, you're right. But that has nothing to do with the ammunition this gives the Democratic leaders.

The actual naming of "Individual #1" frees Congress to move, especially after the House interviews Mueller.

Socially, you're right. But in terms of the Law and preserving democracy, it's more important than the average American cares to know. Because a nation of laws can still move the Senate to be more than followers of a nation of men.

It also adds pressure to the Senate to live up to the Law, to prove itself superior to House Republicans who showed party commitment to racist politics.

Remember that Senate Republicans, if only somewhat less than Democrats, historically exist to show superior American statesmanship over the rabble's politics that the Senate was established to ameliorate.

History allows me to dream. Because they're lawyers, it could happen.

We may not have had the actual documents but the core information was news months ago.
And the actual docs won't be read by hardly anyone so it's a futile move that won't affect a thing.
