Obama leads in Electoral College tallies

Source: San Francisco Chronicle

Washington - President Obama's postconvention bounce - combined with recent missteps by Republican rival Mitt Romney - has created an electoral map highly favorable to the Democratic president.

National and state polls show small but meaningful movement toward Obama since the beginning of the Democratic National Convention in Charlotte, N.C., on Sept. 4.

Obama has jumped out to an average lead of 3.1 percentage points in 10 national polls taken since Sept. 4. That's triple the 1.1 percentage-point edge Obama held in polling conducted between Romney's selection of Wisconsin Rep. Paul Ryan as his running mate and the end of the Republican National Convention in Tampa, Fla.

"Unless there is a crisis-driven shift in opinion, the race will probably stay close, with a slight advantage to Obama," said John Pitney Jr., a professor of American politics at Claremont McKenna College.

The Right might try something unprecedented if they can't move the polls? The frustration the folks on the right are experiencing right now is extremely high! They are very very mad right now...Not sure if they are more mad at Romney or Obama? The fools picked Romney so they only have themselves to blame on that.

I am not going to feel comfortable until I know Obama has won reelection.

4. I do. It's not October yet. Best time to use their millions will be just before Election Day.

Look to see a complete sweep of all venues of the most terrifying lies they can conjure and linking it to whatever is in the news then. And for them to make all the trouble they can in the HoR to scare the voters. Huge efforts to keep the majority, even more last minute voter purging, contested races as well as their disinfo ops to depress Democratic voters. Only a 2008 style turnout will win, and that was before the voters stayed home from the disinfo on the Democrats and the media created Tea Party. They came in and attacked voter rights and none of that is off the table completely. No, it's not all over until Obama is declared winner. Even then, I worry.

...they are entitled to win this, and I am concerned they will become more and more irrational -- hard to believe they could become more irrational.

It has him leading 237 to 191, with 110 electoral votes in swing states.

But click the little red "No Toss-ups" tab at the top of the page, and it's Obama 332, Romney 206.

Bill Clinton took apart the Republican lies piece by piece. He exposed their lies and added many votes to the ticket.

Get out the vote and the computer geeks so they can be watching every move made in every state's very easily hackable e-voting machines. It's to the point now, that people in other countries are playing around in that software, also. After all, Diebold, the GOP crook, sold off to buddies based in Toronto, Canada, who sold to someone else, I believe, in Belgium, or Dominican Republic, or Phillipines or somewhere. Maybe everywhere. Regardless of where...the fatcat greedy lobbyists for GOP ass-kissing are tampering with our votes. It's been proven over and over.

Vote on paper people and don't let them put it through the scanner. Take it to your local campaign office directly. Tell everyone you know.
