Interpol issues red notices for 20 suspects in Khashoggi killing

Interpol has issued a red notice for 20 suspects in the killing of Saudi journalist Jamal Khashoggi, at the request of Turkey.

According to the Turkish Daily Sabah news site, the notice was issued on Thursday for the group, who are suspected of killing and dismembering the Middle East Eye and Washington Post columnist in Saudi Arabia's Istanbul consulate in October, making them liable for arrest around the world.

The Turkish Justice Ministry said the notice had been originally been issued on 1 March as part of an investigation by the Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office into the journalist's murder.

Among those listed are the top aide of Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, Saud al-Qahtani, ex-deputy army chief Ahmed al-Assiri and the consul-general at the time of the murder, Mohammed al-Otaibi.

No, wait, that's a different crime where all the underlings are thrown under the bus.
