President Donald Trump started off his Sunday morning by tweeting about the cold snap that is hitting the U.S. that showed off his complete inability to understand climate change.

On Twitter, the president wrote: “Be careful and try staying in your house. Large parts of the Country are suffering from tremendous amounts of snow and near record setting cold. Amazing how big this system is. Wouldn’t be bad to have a little of that good old fashioned Global Warming right now!”

in some northern places like Siberia is warming up. Structures like houses and pipelines built on the solid frozen ground may find their foundations becoming less stable.
Worse, the organic matter in that melting permafrost will decay and release lots of gases adding to the global warming.

Is global warming getting to a point of positive feedback, ie is today's global warming making future global warming much worse, with predicted disaster points getting closer?

Trump may be an idiot, but any idiot should be able to see that the weather is getting more energetic. More fires, more massively destructive out of season storms, more rain there, more drought here, more heat here and more cold there.
