Republicans Describe Trump As 'Weak' And 'Nuts' In Private, Democratic Senator Says

Source: Huffington Post

Sen. Claire McCaskill (D-Mo.) said Thursday that her Republican colleagues are a lot more honest about President Donald Trump behind closed doors than in public.

During an appearance on MSNBC, the Missouri Democrat ticked off what she had heard from GOP senators about the president behind his back.

“Nuts, weak, doesn’t really understand government, doesn’t care to understand anything complicated, asks and says the most unbelievable things in meetings that clearly shows he doesn’t understand the subject matter, no intellectual curiosity,” said McCaskill, who lost her re-election bid in November.

“I believe history will judge down the line those members of the Republican Party who have silently looked down and think they can just wait this out, without even speaking up about the level of lying that goes on,” she added.

4. Cenk used to be exactly like Scarborough,

he was anti-feminist, anti-abortion, anti-affirmative action, but Cenk changed big time. The catalyst was our invasion into Iraq.

Today, Cenk is not even close to Joe Scarborough. Cenk was a Bernie guy who voted for Hillary. Cenk was demoted on MSNBC by Phil Griffin because Cenk was too progressive, so rather than take a demotion he went to Current TV, where, by the way, Keith Olbermann also worked because he was fired by Phil Griffin. Cenk will call it as he sees it and yes he did criticize the Democrats who voted for the farm bill which stopped the Yemen debate.
How many DU'ers agree with what those Democrats did? Should Democrats be supporting our involvement in Yemen? Yes, Cenk did say he didn't like Schumer's body language at the televised meeting with Nancy Pelosi and Trump. To me that's a nothingburger.

Cenk Uygur used to be a Joe Scarborough, IMO, today he isn't even close to Joe, Cenk is further to the left than most Democrats. did he criticize Democrats from time to time? Yes he did. Did those Democrats deserve to be criticized, you tell me? IMO it would be nice for us to get out of Yemen.

I understand that we are not supposed to criticize Democrats. Are we also not allowed to criticize the handful of Democrats who voted with the Republicans? I am criticizing the way they voted with Republicans. If that is wrong, Alert me. By the way, Chris Hayes agrees with me too, is he also like Joe Scarborough?

But how much weaker to be a submissive doormat for a treasonous, draft-dodging, lying a-hole, as the republican party has done.

7. Mitch McConnell is the key evil

...here.

He knows everything about Trump and only makes calculations based on keeping power for Repugs and their donors.

Doesn't give a flying damn about the country or the government. Absolute scum.

Wish McCaskill would call him out by name.

10. +1. It's about filling as many life-time judicial positions as possible while Trump's in office.

I think that's the number I heard.

It's McC's top priority. Now his cronies can break the law with impunity.

He's so sinister. Ready to break every institution and branch of government. A true autocratic Oligarch.

The Dems need to scream to the rafters about the effects of this packing. The media needs to cover.

makes me think he may be nuts, but he's got them tied in knots, so I'm not sure "weak" is what I'd call him.
