Joe Biden on Trump: He 'Seems to Have a Love Affair with Autocrats'

Former Vice President Joe Biden lamented in an interview with CBS This Morning‘s Norah O’Donnell that President Donald Trump “seems to have a love affair with autocrats.”
“I just don’t know why this administration seems to feel the need to coddle autocrats and dictators from [Russian President Vladimir] Putin to [North Korean dictator] Kim Jong Un to, you know, [Philippine despot Rodrigo] Duterte. I don’t understand it,” Biden said in the wake of Trump comparing the disappearance of a Washington Post journalist to the sexual misconduct allegations against Brett Kavanaugh on Tuesday.
He added that he fears Trump just doesn’t get it.
“I don’t want to speculate on my worst fears,” Biden continued on. “But, either he doesn’t know what he’s doing or he has an absolutely convoluted notion of what allows America to lead the world.”
