Trump mocks 'the rules of Me Too' at Pennsylvania rally

Source: The Hill

BY EMILY BIRNBAUM - 10/10/18 07:40 PM EDT

President Trump on Wednesday night mocked the "Me Too" movement during a campaign rally in Erie, Pennsylvania.

The president quipped that he needed to censor himself due to the "rules of Me Too," which he blamed the press for enforcing.

"I used an expression — you know, there’s an expression but under the rules of 'Me Too, I’m not allowed to use that expression anymore," he said. "I can’t do it." Trump then pointed to the phrase "the girl that got away."

He instead opted for "the person that got away," referring to Republicans' failure to win the state of Pennsylvania in presidential elections for years.

Trump believes only polls ‘that have us up’

BY TAL AXELROD - 10/10/18 07:59 PM EDT

President Trump Wednesday night slammed midterm polls that show Democrats ahead of various races in next month's election.

“I believe in polls — only the ones that have us up…Other than that, they're the fake news polls,” he said at a campaign rally in Erie, Pennsylvania.

Multiple media outlets and independent polls project Democrats could ride a blue wave into the majority in the House of Representatives. FiveThirtyEight projected Wednesday that Democrats have a 78 percent chance of taking control of the chamber after November’s elections.

Republicans are much better situated to keep or expand their Senate majority.

Democrats are defending 10 seats in states Trump won in 2016, and only a handful of Republican seats are competitive.

The president has predicted instead a “red wave” would sweep the midterm elections.

Trump has long railed against polls since several wrongly predicted his defeat in the 2016 presidential election.

Because we women have had enough of his shit, and we've had enough of the GOP's treating women as if we were livestock or property. The GOP and their giant gilded turd have no idea how many of us have been sexually assaulted. I'm absolutely livid. They've lit a powder keg and we will take that to the polls until they are all voted out, or drop dead, whichever comes first.

I wish a big sink hole opened up under whatever venue he was at and they would all be sucked into it, like the house at the end of Poltergeist.

Other than that, they're illegitimate presidents.

One day this trouser stain snizzwad will die. And we will all be dancing in the streets, drunk and deliriously happy.

are the dozens of women, seated or standing behind him at his ego-stroking rallies, who clap and cheer for every word the fat orange turd emits from his gaping maw. What the hell are they thinking? They're cheering for rape and sexual assault? It makes absolutely no sense to me.
