Patrick Smyth, a second former classmate of Judge Brett Kavanaugh, is sending a letter to the Senate Judiciary Committee denying any knowledge of the rowdy high school party described by Christine Blasey Ford. CNN received a copy of the letter, which is expected to be sent on Wednesday.

"I understand that I have been identified by Dr. Christine Blasey Ford as the person she remembers as 'PJ' who supposedly was present at the party she described in her statements to the Washington Post," Mr. Smyth wrote in the letter.

In her account to The Washington Post, Ms. Ford noted that there four boys at the high school party. Judge Kavanaugh and Mark Judge were identified as the ones in the room during her alleged assault, but The Post article did not identify the other two.

Mr. Smyth claims he is indeed one of the boys Ms. Ford referenced but said he didn't know anything about the party in her allegation.

"I am issuing this statement today to make it clear to all involved that I have no knowledge of the party in question; nor do I have any knowledge of the allegations of improper conduct she has leveled against Brett Kavanaugh," he wrote. "Personally speaking, I have known Brett Kavanaugh since high school and I know him to be a person of great integrity, a great friend, and I have never witnessed any improper conduct by Brett Kavanaugh towards women."...

Judge Kavanaugh and his HS classmate Mark Judge have both denied that the sexual assault alleged occurred. Nominee Kavanaugh agreed to testify in Committee, but Mark Judge said he did not have more information to give beyond his denial.
Republican lawmakers set a hearing to address the allegations for Monday, but Ms. Ford wants the FBI to investigate her claims before she testifies. (Brief article, end).

(CNN)- In a letter to the Senate Judiciary Committee, another former classmate of Brett Kavanaugh's denies attending a party like the one described in the allegation made by Christine Blasey Ford, who has accused the Supreme Court nominee of sexually assaulting her three decades ago when they were teenagers.
Patrick J. Smyth attended Georgetown Prep- an all-boys school in North Bethesda, Maryland, alongside Kavanaugh. Both men graduated in 1983. Smyth signed a letter this summer, before the allegations against Kavanaugh were made public, testifying that Kavanaugh "is singularly qualified to be an Associate Justice on the U.S. Supreme Court," along with dozen other of the school's alumni.

Eric Bruce, who is representing Smyth, authored a letter to Senate Judiciary Chairman Chuck Grassley of Iowa and Sen. Dianne Feinstein of California, the top Democrat on the committee. CNN has obtained a copy of the letter, which includes a quote from Smyth denying seeing any "improper conduct" from Kavanaugh.

-"I understand that I have been identified by Dr. Christine Blasey Ford as the person she remembers as 'PJ' who supposedly was present at the party she described in her statements to the Washington Post," Smyth says in his statement to the Senate Judiciary Committee. "I am issuing this statement today to make it clear to all involved that I have no knowledge of the party in question; nor do I have any knowledge of the allegations of improper conduct she has leveled against Brett Kavanaugh."
"Personally speaking, I have known Brett Kavanaugh since high school and I know him to be a person of great integrity, a great friend, and I have never witnessed any improper conduct by Brett Kavanaugh towards women. To safeguard my own privacy and anonymity, I respectfully request that the Committee accept this statement in response to any inquiry the Committee may have."..

Ford's attorney Lisa Banks said Tuesday on CNN's "Anderson Cooper 360" following the release of Ford's letter, that Ford will talk with the committee but that she's not prepared for a hearing that soon. "She will talk with the committee," Banks said. "She is not prepared to talk with them at a hearing on Monday. This just came out 48 hours ago."... https://www.cnn.com/2018/09/18/politics/pj-smyth-brett-kavanaugh/index.html

Take 5 minutes. Sit down with the FBI and tell the you weren't there. Right after you're reminded that lying to the FBI is a federal crime. if you weren't there, by the time you get down stairs, you'll feel a lot better. If you were there...well...that's a whole different kind of worry vs. sending some letter to a senator.

Your statements are irrelevant, but thank you for the the dog-whistle comments about Dr. Ford and the endorsement of Kavanaugh's upstanding character.

She never stated that you were present in the room where the assault took place, and only those who were in that room know what took place. This is nothing but a gratuitous attempt to praise Kavanaugh while smearing Dr. Ford.

Nice try, though. I guess you wanted your 15 minutes. Now, please slink back into obscurity.

Review, Christian News, etc. That's why I had to use WT. And the CNN article posted in comments section below, is over 12 hrs. old, which is unacceptable for an LBN post.
