Jordan: If Rosenstein doesn't deliver, Meadows and I will force impeachment vote

Source: The Hill

BY JACQUELINE THOMSEN - 07/29/18 07:01 AM EDT

Rep. Jim Jordan (R-Ohio) said on Sunday that if the Department of Justice (DOJ) doesn’t hand over documents that Congress has requested, he and other lawmakers will force a vote on the impeachment of Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein.

“If they don’t give us the information that we, as a separate and equal branch of government are entitled to have in order to get answers for the American people, then we will actually call to vote for the impeachment of Rod Rosenstein,” Jordan told radio host John Catsimatidis in an interview on AM 970 in New York.

Jordan and Rep. Mark Meadows (R-N.C.), leaders in the House Freedom Caucus, led a group of conservative lawmakers in filing articles of impeachment against Rosenstein on Wednesday.

Meadows backed off on that effort one day later following a series of talks with GOP leaders, who largely oppose Rosenstein’s impeachment.

It will fail miserably and you'll look like morons. Stupid asses. Doesn't Jordan have enough to worry about with the Ohio State scandal? As for Meadows, he reminds me of some filth a scraped off my shoe the other day.

7. House Conservatives Introduce Resolution To Impale Rod Rosenstein

WASHINGTON—Claiming that the United States Deputy Attorney General had failed to uphold his oath of office, 11 Congressional conservatives reportedly introduced a resolution Thursday to impale Rod Rosenstein.

“Mr. Rosenstein’s tenure has been marked by rampant partisanship, leaving us with no choice but to move forward with articles of impalement,” said Ohio Rep. Jim Jordan, telling reporters that, if approved, the motion would require Rosenstein to immediately have his body driven through by a 20-foot pike on the steps of the Capitol Building as a warning to all who would defy the president.

“Time and again, Mr. Rosenstein has crossed the line in his investigation into Russian meddling, and we intend to make a statement against these outrages by lancing him from anus to mouth, leaving him alive to scream in agony as he slowly exsanguinates.”

At press time, the resolution had stalled after House Republicans were unable to reach a consensus about whether Rosenstein’s eyes should be immediately gouged out or remain in place to be eaten by crows.

12. Republicans Accuse Rosenstein of Secretly Plotting to Uphold Constitution

Borowitz got way too close to the truth with this column!

WASHINGTON (The Borowitz Report)—House Republicans on Thursday accused the Deputy Attorney General, Rod Rosenstein, of “secretly and nefariously” implementing a plot to uphold the United States Constitution.

In a joint press conference, Representatives Mark Meadows, of North Carolina, and Jim Jordan, of Ohio, said that they had “ample evidence” that Rosenstein was prepared to protect the Constitution “by any and all means at his disposal.”

“There is only one way to describe Rosenstein’s obsession with putting the Constitution before all other concerns,” Meadows said. “Conflict of interest.”

“It is almost as if Rod Rosenstein had taken some kind of solemn oath to defend a centuries-old document,” Jordan said. “This should make every American very, very scared.”

Ohio's 4th district is "conveniently" drawn to encapsulate as many Repukes as possible. Janet Garrett lost it last time by 68% to 32%. So Gymbo will safely beat her again, but maybe the margin will narrow enough to reflect "Shower Boy's" recent notoriety and scare his useless ass a bit!

I just had this feeling in my bones. Urban was in the loop (of liars).
He must be a Republican.

We just cannot turn our backs (ignore) ugly things. Kissing Ass
