2. A further unconditional surrender of American sovereignty

Trump's not trying to hide it, he's doing it out in the open, posturing weakness and accepting foreign control. He doesn't even understand geopolitical boundaries, sovereignty. This is capitulation without military invasion.

This is like a CEO who announces he will sell all products at a loss, borrow to do so, and give all the company's patents and intellectual property to his main competitors. Total incompetence.

15. Not incompetence - he is doing exactly what Putin hired him to do.

With deliberate, vicious competence.

3. There are NO Repugnican patriots

They're scared and bowed by members of their own party or downright terrified of a Twitter attack by a rather obese orange man. Don't hold your breath, John Brennan. Sorry. Perhaps one of you Intelligence guys could've "leaked" some info, proof or audio of treason BEFORE the election and sunk him, but ya didn't and here we are. Thanks.

7. Never let it be said...

That Trump and the filthy GOP were tricked or trapped in this debacle.

They walked into treason with eyes wide open, with a great many who know VERY well the penalties for their criminality.

They could have turned from the crime at any point in the process, but appear to have stayed on their treasonous path.

They have earned the fate that I hope awaits them.

8. Everything that Republics claim to hold so dear

They have shat upon every day since November of 2016. There is absolutely no excuse that they can give that is based in truth to excuse their behavior that is in direct contradiction to the Constitution and Rule of Law that they claim to hold dear.

For EVERY action that they have taken since they stole this presidency through the rigging of the election - or stopping what they KNEW was happening - and the stacking of the deck by unconstitutional gerrymandering, I challenge them to take each scenario and put either President Obama or any Democratic representative in the situation and then tell us if they would have felt that it was okay and legal. They would have started impeachment proceedings within the first month of the presidency - of this I have no doubt. And that goes for the republic constituents as well - those who love the hate and suffering that their representatives are inflicting. It's all a big Wide World Wrestling show.

I am heartened by the inner knowing that the sands of time on this are now less on the activity and more on the ending of the activity. As the sands of time head toward their completion, it seems that the sands move more quickly to empty themselves into the solution/ending of the activity. I can feel us getting much closer to the big reveal.

The question we now need to focus on is - what is the plan for when this happens? Because when the big reveal happens, we better damn well have a solid plan and leadership to pull us into a history that we can once again be proud of.

We need Democratic leadership to begin prepping the public for a coordinated response.

He sells out his own his own intelligence. Literally. And dumb enough to believe his rival "competitor" instead.

11. The GOP has been complicit in the subversion of American democracy.

The GOP has been complicit in the subversion of American democracy.

Unfortunately Trump administration officials are blocking an investigation into 21 state election systems that were attacked by Russia.[1]

Moreover, Republicans in the House Intelligence Committee voted to shut down the Russia probe.[2]

Republicans shut down the HIC investigation when we know of at least 70 contacts between the Trump team and Russia-linked operatives, the committee obtained either no or incomplete information about 81% of known contacts between Trump officials and Russians.[3]

Six Democrats who are Ranking Members of their committees have been forced to request documents related to the Russian attacks against 21 state election systems in 2016 from Speaker of the House Paul Ryan.[4]

It is doubtful that Paul Ryan will assist, he sat by
idly while Republican Congressman Nunes made a mockery of the Russia investigation in the House Intelligence Committee for over a year.[5]

While Republicans in the House have been unhelpful, their Senate counterparts have reacted differently. However the Senate leadership has been no better than the House Republicans. The Senate Intelligence Committee, led by Republican Senator and Chairman Richard Burr and Ranking Member Democratic Senator Mark Warner, have said that the Russia investigation will not be ending any time soon.[6] The bipartisan Senate investigation concluded and found that Vladimir Putin interfered in the 2016 U.S. election to specifically help Donald Trump.[7]

“The committee concurs with intelligence and open-source assessments that this influence campaign was approved by President Putin,” the panel said Tuesday in a report that endorsed as “sound” the intelligence findings issued in January 2017. The committee said there was a body of intelligence “to support the assessment that Putin and the Russian Government developed a clear preference for Trump.”

Furthermore, a bipartisan bill has been drafted to protect Special Counsel Mueller from being fired, but there is significant push back from Republican leaders in the Senate.[8]

A bipartisan bill to protect Mueller was voted on and approved by the Senate Judiciary Committee. Four GOP senators broke rank with the party, enough to approve the bill with Democrat support.[9] While the Senate Judiciary committee has approved the bill, Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell has said that there has been no indication that Special Counsel Mueller will be fired so there is no need for legislation to protect the investigation.[10] Senate majority leader McConnell is refusing to allow a vote on the Senate floor for a bill to protect Special Counsel Mueller.[11]

Senator McConnell's reasoning is absurd if we consider the fact that President Trump has attempted to fire Mueller twice. In June of 2017 President Trump attempted to fire Special Counsel Mueller, he was allegedly stopped by White House Counsel Don McGahn when he threatened to resign over the move.[12] In December President Trump wanted to fire Mueller and shut down the investigation again after investigators issued subpoenas for obtaining information about the President's business dealings with Deutsche Bank.

14. He's always and only about himself.

And this is really, really not funny any more.

Once again he is trying to shape reality with his own words. Make it come out like he wants it to be. Putin is his best buddy. There was no collusion, no interference in his spectacularly clean and successful campaign. And he deserves to be where he is for sure!

Like so many FOX viewers he is steeped in this version of reality, so much so that he assumes that it makes perfect sense to the rest of us.

I found his Captain Queeg like rambling to be perfectly nauseating.
