During the press conference after their one-on-one meeting, Russian President Vladimir Putin was asked if he had any “compromising material” on President Donald Trump, alluding to the infamous pee tape—and Putin did not outrightly deny it.

After a pause and some nervous laughter in the room, Putin begged off the question, saying that he didn’t know Trump or that he was in Moscow then.

“Yeah, I did hear these rumors that this allegedly collected compromising material on Mr. Trump when he was visiting Moscow,” Putin said through a translator.

“Distinguished colleague, let me tell you this, when President Trump was in Moscow back then, I didn’t even know that he was in Moscow. I treat President Trump with utmost respect, but back then when he was a private individual, a businessman, nobody informed me that he was in Moscow,” he continued. “Please disregard these issues and don’t think about this anymore again,” he finished.

By saying he didn't even know Spanky was in Moscow (despite a friggin worldwide audience for the beauty pageant), it must've wounded Spanky right in his teeny tiny heart. Spanky was desperate to meet Putin back then and was mightily disappointed when he didn't! He apparently kept asking over and over again about when could he meet Putin and was he going to attend the pageant. One of many of Spanky's stories is that Putin "could not have been nicer" after a phone call with him during that Moscow trip! Hell, even Putie can't keep his lies straight! Hahaha, gotcha!

After the pageant was over, the daughter of another Russian oligarch, Aras Agalarov, delivered a package for Trump to the Miss Universe office in New York City. The package was apparently the gift Putin had mentioned, and contained a polished black box that contained sealed letter from the Russian president himself. The contents of the letter remain unknown to this day.

Just because Putin didn’t hide in a closet or peek from behind the curtains doesn’t mean he didn’t arrange for someone else to do it for him. Any good mob boss can tell you that there is no need to soil your hands with the dirty work when you can have an underling do it for you. tRump was eager to meet Putin and made no secret of that wish. So Putin, no doubt, knew tRump was in Moscow and only had to give the nod to his minions to get the dirty goods on tRump. And he never had to lift a finger.
