Trump tells North Dakota: Unseat 'liberal Democrat' Heitkamp

FARGO, N.D. — President Donald Trump urged North Dakota voters on Wednesday to fire "liberal Democrat" Sen. Heidi Heitkamp in November, claiming that she promised to be an independent mind but instead has voted in lockstep with her party leadership and against his agenda.

Trump called for the election of Republican U.S. Rep. Kevin Cramer instead.

"When Heidi ran for office, she promised to be an independent vote for the people of North Dakota," Trump said to an arena packed with cheering supporters in Fargo. "Instead, she went to Washington and immediately joined Chuck ... and Nancy," a reference to Democratic congressional leaders Sen. Chuck Schumer and Rep. Nancy Pelosi.

Heitkamp has said she was curious about how Trump would portray her record, which she says has favored many issues the president cares about, including overhauling environmental and banking regulations. Heitkamp also voted to confirm 21 of Trump's 26 Cabinet-level nominations.

Hedi voted against Democrats alot and sided with Trump
But Trump does what he does best.
Back stabs When he has a stage.
If Hedi don't get this shes a fool.
I'm from North Dakota gotta vote for her even thou shes a trump
Appeaser no other Democrat's running.

...I'll hold my nose and vote for her. Please. Just don't post if you are going to do your best to damn a Democrat with faint praise. This is not a close call. Also, North Dakota is a red state. If Heitkamp was not liberal enough for Democratic voters, she would have lost her primary. She won the Democratic primary and she is an incumbent. Kudos to her.

not to VOTE with drumpf again...she voted for and confirmed his cabinet members like pomeo etc,,and she will pay the consequences.....she will lose ,,,hate to say it,,hope there is another good dem running against her

13. Here's the thing, conservative Dems can never

support GOP policies enough; they'll still be bashed come re-election time. That's the thing Dems like Heitkamp keep failing to learn. If you're voting for GOP policies/nominees out of heartfelt conviction, that's one thing, but merely because it's political calculation/triangulation, in the end that doesn't work.

For ex, Sherrod Brown supports Trump on import tariffs, but that's something Brown has believed in for a long time.

helped insure future boot lickings...So dementia boy throws
one under the train..granted a DINO, but Lord it should make
other potential lickers think twice...look bad for the voters
by trying to get cheetoz admiration....or being a responsible
