John McCain Torches Trump's 'Bad Negotiating Tactic' With Kim Jong Un

Source: The Daily Beast

Sen. John McCain (R-AZ) on Thursday criticized President Donald Trump for his handling of his meeting earlier this week with North Korean leader Kim Jong Un, arguing that Trump was wrong to agree to suspend joint U.S.-South Korea military exercises. “Making unnecessary and unreciprocated concessions is not in our interests—and it is a bad negotiating tactic,” McCain said in a statement, adding that Trump was “parroting Chinese and North Korean propaganda” when he called the exercises “provocative.” McCain, who chairs the Senate Armed Services Committee, said the U.S. should not make any concessions or ease up on sanctions until North Korea “takes concrete steps” toward denuclearization and addresses its human rights violations. Trump’s decision to suspend the military exercises drew criticism from even some of his allies on Capitol Hill, who, like McCain, worried that the concession “undermines our security and alliances.” McCain has been at home in Arizona while he receives treatment for brain cancer.

meeting. Three hotels, nine golf courses, and 25 branch offices of a Russian bank -- all to be build by Trump, Inc.

I can guess what Biden thinks about it.

I'm guessing that Trump, in his naivetee, has his eye on making money in North Korea. A hotel? ("I was joking!&quot I can envision hotel patrons being imprisoned for years for taking the hotel soap from the bathroom, like that young man who took a hotel poster and was returned to us years later in a coma (then died). Yeah, sure...hotels & golf courses in North Korea.

And his party has been devastated by the trump loyalists now. He and the remaining few left need to switch over to the Democrats and take control of the Senate to stand up against this takeover from trump and putin, or Democracy could be gone, like the republican party is now. If they put country first they have to do this, or be complicit to what they're doing to this country.
