ALAMEDA COUNTY SHERIFF'S OFFICE

Henry Sintay was apparently filmed back at the lake, picking items from the water

A California jogger filmed dumping a homeless man's belongings in a lake is accused of stealing a bystander's phone as he recorded him a day later.

Oakland city police arrested Henry Sintay, 30, on Monday on suspicion of robbery after he was apparently filmed in a fracas at the same location.

Onlooker Matt Nelson shared the video on Facebook and said Mr Sintay had taken his phone during a tussle.

Mr Sintay has not been charged over removing the homeless man's camp.

3. How do they know he was jogging and not fleeing from something or somebody?

I don't like making joggers look bad, since I am one.

9. :) Yes. Maybe he's a criminal rushing up to vandalize

the homeless man's pathetic belongings. As he is.

I am very sorry to read that he was not arrested for that despicable (and surely illegal?) action in addition to stealing from someone else.

10. "How do they know he was jogging and not fleeing from something or somebody?"

Maybe because he stopped to attack a homeless person's stuff and steal the phone of someone filming him?

11. And that proves he was a jogger?

Sounds like a crazy criminal to me. The fact that he was running doesn't make him a jogger. But anyway, at least some people got my humor.

5. besides attacking the belongings of another, polluting the lake by dumping, and taking a witness

phone, the tussle with the witness resulted in an injury

8. Is Obama's reeducation camp still open?

If so, this guy deserves some time there (empathy training).

12. But not for dumping the homeless man's belongings

I was trying to figure out if that was a crime - I suppose it could be vandalism or theft also, though the belongings might not be worth anything, they are still belongings.
