U.S. adds 204,000 private-sector jobs in April, ADP report shows

The numbers: Private-sector employment remained strong in April, as employers added 204,000 jobs, Automatic Data Processing Inc. reported Wednesday. That gain was above forecasts from economists polled by Econoday, who had expected on average an increase of 190,000. March's gain was cut to show 228,000 growth instead of a previously estimated 241,000.

ADP National Employment Report: Private Sector Employment Increased by 204,000 Jobs in April

ROSELAND, N.J. - May 2, 2018 - Private sector employment increased by 204,000 jobs from March to April according to the April ADP National Employment Report. Broadly distributed to the public each month, free of charge, the ADP National Employment Report is produced by the ADP Research Institute in collaboration with Moody's Analytics. The report, which is derived from ADP's actual payroll data, measures the change in total nonfarm private employment each month on a seasonally-adjusted basis.

1. That first bar graph doesn't look like a ringing endorsement of the tax cut:



Dec. 2017: 249,000 ... and then descending thereafter.

2. Will the 4.1 unemployed number remain the same?

The 4.1% unemployed number has been frozen since November. I'm still waiting for economists to offer up an explanation, is it possible we have reached the bottom?

3. Dropping since December even after Trumps Corporate buds got a cut for 2017.....

Besides,when there were "only" 200k jobs created in a month when Obama was President it was chided as weak,pathetic,etc,etc. This proves as well as anything else that MASSIVE tax cut for corporations was more Tinkle down BS that NEVER works.

Go into any business in your area that you frequent,see a shit load of NEW workers? Nope,stand in line forever or they add more self service check outs.
