Russian spy: Yulia Skripal 'improving rapidly'

Yulia Skripal is "improving rapidly" and no longer in a critical condition, four weeks after the Salisbury poisoning, the hospital has said.
The daughter of ex-spy Sergei Skripal was admitted after they came into contact with a nerve agent. on 4 March.
"She has responded well to treatment but continues to receive expert clinical care 24 hours a day," the hospital said.
Mr Skripal remains in a critical but stable condition.

(4,483 posts)I heard a Russian familiar with this nerve agent telling the interviewer on CNN or MSNBC that it was highly unlikely that either father or daughter would survive "once they were taken off life support" because the toxin is so very deadly. It sounds like the daughter, at least, may never have been on life support.

Viktoria Skripal said the prognosis for both really isnt good following the novichok nerve agent attack in Salisbury, Wiltshire, on 4 March.
She told the BBC: Out of 99% I have maybe 1% of hope. Whatever it was has given them a very small chance of survival. But theyre going to be invalids for the rest of their lives.
