Trump Says He Could Beat Up Joe Biden
Source: The Daily Beast
The president of the United States has challenged former Vice President Joe Biden to a fist fight, and he thinks hes going to win. Perhaps it was an inevitable response to Bidens comments on Tuesday, when he said: If [he and Trump] were in high school, Id take him behind the gym and beat the hell out of him. Just after 6 a.m. ET, Trump mocked the mentally and physically weak Biden and insisted that he would leave him in tears if the two men were to actually have a fight. Trump tweeted: Crazy Joe Biden is trying to act like a tough guy. Actually, he is weak, both mentally and physically, and yet he threatens me, for the second time, with physical assault. He doesnt know me, but he would go down fast and hard, crying all the way. Dont threaten people Joe!

Ive been in a lot of locker rooms my whole life, Biden continued. Im a pretty [darn] good athlete. Any guy that talked that way was usually the fattest, ugliest S.O.B. in the room.

(8,200 posts)If they hadn't been born into wealth they would be living in the slums or in prison. Unfortunately, wealth can be used to insulate people from accountability for their actions. When anyone takes objection to their vile behavior, they react by threats of suing them into bankruptcy. They molest women and just pay them off and get a nondisclosure agreement. They contract for work to be done and refuse to pay them and make them settle for a dime on the dollar. As Jesus said it is harder for some rich people to get to heaven then for a camel to get through the eye of a needle. In reality, a lot of wealthy people have miserable lives and their so-called friends are in constant suspicion of only wanting their money and when they die their heirs gather like a pack of vultures to divvy up the loot. There are exceptions, but damn few and far between.

(23,081 posts)Biden is too classy to fight you but your tiny little brain isn't smart enough to read properly so you think he wants to fight you now instead of just stating a hypothetical. How totally stupid you are! Besides Biden would wipe the floor with you, the only thing you have going for you is being huge, but you aren't even the 6'3" you state, you are actually only 6"1' per your driving license. You lie about everything. Anyway, Joe works out and has muscles and muscles beat fat anyday.
Hope he's catching hell for this on twitter but the russian bots are probably roaring in on his side, so he may not see real responses. He's also deleted many many people that were anti him, including my husband and a good friend. I don't use Twitter.

(48,988 posts)Six years ago, March 2012, Justin Trudeau handily defeated Senator Brazeau in a boxing match.
March 31, 2017
That's right, non-Canadian readership, five years ago today, then-Liberal MP Justin Trudeau clobbered Conservative Senator Patrick Brazeau in a charity boxing match that put the victor on the path to the prime minister's office and left the loser's career in tatters.
At the time, the perception of Trudeau, the eldest son of Canada's most charismatic but divisive prime minister, was that he was a bit of a lightweight. OK, that perception still largely exists in some circles, but dude was really just a famous mid-level player in Canada's third-ranking political party in early 2012. Compared to the solidly entrenched then-prime minister Stephen Harper or the recently-deceased Jack Layton, Trudeau was neither nationally beloved nor taken seriously as a political player.
...
Trudeau, basically a 6'2 beanpole, wasn't given much of a puncher's shot at beating Brazeau, who was a couple inches shorter, but heavier, barrel-chested and as the Sun News commentary team pointed out, more "tatted."
"I think he's been in more fights in a month than Trudeau has been in a life," future Rebel Commander Ezra Levant (who draws heavily from the Jerry Lawler school of commentary) said as Brazeau made his way to the ring. (Surely, I don't need to make mention that there's a problematic assumption there from Mr. Levant, whose co-commenter also adds the Algonquin senator comes from a "tougher neighbourhood" than Trudeau.)
...
The fight ended moments later, with the ref calling it as Brazeaunose bleeding/legs weak/mom's spaghettiwas completely unable to defend himself any longer. "Not even close," a clearly bummed out Levant said.
So, that's the time Justin Trudeau beat the shit out of a senator. Six months later, Trudeau announced he was running for Liberal leadership, and three and-a-half years later, he beat the shit out of Stephen Harper at the polls, took over the prime minister's office, and stole the world's heart with his mighty handshake.
https://www.vice.com/en_ca/article/nz9wpd/the-definitive-analysis-of-the-handshake-between-donald-trump-and-justin-trudeau
The car door opens. This is it. It's go time. Trudeau steps out of the car and glides into Trump's outstretched hand. He quickly braces himself on the president's shoulder, establishing an indomitable centre of gravity. He is going fucking Super Saiyan on this handshake. But Trump will not be deterred. He ratchets up the pressure and tries to pull this punk kid in. There is a tug of war. Trudeau is not moving. His hand is too strong. Their forearms are jerking around with electrical power and neither of them were ready for this to happen.
He can barely believe it himself and he has to look down at his own hands to make sure that this is really happening that, yes, he is not broken. He raises his head again to meet Trump's gaze with blazing eyes that scream SIC SEMPER TYRANNIS but also AINSI TOUJOURS AUX TYRANS because bilingualism. Utterly destroyed but wanting to be cool about it, Trump gestures at the cameras before leading Justin into his den of lies. He cannot hide the look of absolute mystification on his face.

(748 posts)a) Trudeau boxed in university, Brazeau knew how to punch, kinda, but mostly threw useless haymakers
b) The Liberal party was only temporarily in third place. Some weird stuff had happened. They spend the majority of our years in government and are usually the second place party at other times.
c) Trudeau and Brazeau were the same weight, so while I get the "lightweight" metaphor, it doesn't apply to the boxing match. He was taller and skinnier, but they matched pretty much dead on, kilogram for kilogram. (and again, Trudeau knew what he was doing).
That said ... Brazeau was an asshole who, it turned out, had been abusing his girlfriend. I've never read a Brazeau story since that made me sad he got his ass kicked.
And if Biden did the same in some kind of ridiculous celebrity match with Trump, the same thing would happen.
