NASA Acting Administrator Robert Lightfoot To Retire, White House Appointee Not Yet Confirmed

Source: Tech Times

NASA acting administrator, Robert Lightfoot, will retire from his post starting April 30. Whether or not White House appointee Rep. Jim Bridenstine will be the next NASA administrator is still undetermined.

This week, Lightfoot penned a memorandum letter addressed to NASA employees announcing his retirement. He did not give a specific reason for leaving NASA, but he said he wanted to spend more time with his family.

Long Career At NASA

Lightfoot, a rocket propulsion engineer and senior career civil servant started his term as the space agency's acting administrator on Jan. 20, 2017, under the Trump administration.

I recall, when I was a kid, seeing movies on the teevee (my father, always creative, called it the Boob Tube. Get it?*) and there was this movie. And the movie was about space and they had aluminum pie plates flying in space.

Now if scientists were able to make pie plates fly, I'm sure the Gropenfuhrer can find us an engineer to make big, cheap flying saucers instead of rockets. That's the key to all of this. Saucers go better in space than rockets. Why else, do you think the aliens used saucers in every movie and not rockets. The aliens even used saucers in Area 59.

Now Donnie probably knows this and will replace Lightfoot with a good engineer. Then next March, we will be on Mars or at least one of them asteroids we are gonna mine.

* If you don't get it, message me and I will append a --- ah, what hell. Boob Tube was a reference to me, a boob watching it and the shape of the main tube when he took the back of the set off and remarked about it looking something like Jayne Ma ---aw. fuck it. Don't bother with messaging me.

But not @TheRealJesus but some warped evangelical non-science/non-fact Jesus.

Personally, I feel that the Jesus of Nazareth would probably be enraptured to see the progress humankind has made. But bedeviled by the villainy of people that use his name in vain.

Maybe Pence should appoint his wife since she is really in charge. Then he should have some free time to go out carousing with the boys.
