GOP lawmaker asks Capitol Police to arrest 'Dreamers' at State of the Union

Conservative Rep. Paul Gosar (R-Ariz.) is calling for the arrests of young immigrants brought to the U.S. illegally as children, often called "Dreamers," who attend President Trump's first State of the Union address Tuesday night.

“Of all the places where the Rule of Law needs to be enforced, it should be in the hallowed halls of Congress. Any illegal aliens attempting to go through security, under any pretext of invitation or otherwise, should be arrested and deported," Gosar said.

Today, Congressman Paul Gosar contacted the U.S. Capitol Police, as well as Attorney General Jeff Sessions, asking they consider checking identification of all attending the State of the Union address and arresting any illegal aliens in attendance.

I googled his family months ago and that is what happened. He left Germany in the middle of the night to avoid required military service. When he wanted to move back there years later they wouldn't let him in since they kept records. Therefore the whole Drumpf lineage is based on illegal immigration. Typical...his DNA says it all.

includes the towns of Kingman and Payson ( I love Payson )... as well as the very small town named after my great great grand-uncle ( or some such relation ).

The 4th district voted for Obama in 2008... but wait, that was a different district in Maricopa County that was mostly Hispanic. The districts were redrawn in 2010 to create the new 4th district.

Anyway, this guy is a true asshat ( where I'm from... only Doctors with an M.D. want to be called "Doctor Smith" not asshats with a D.D.S. or PhD ).

Interesting factoid about the wiki page for the 4th district... if you add up the percentage of people by ethnic breakdown... it adds up to 111.1% cool! New math, I guess.

I would demand to see Gosar's long form birth certificate just to make sure that he is, in fact, an American citizen. Until he can produce it he needs to be in an ICE detention center awaiting deportation.

Last... Arizona will never be a reliably blue state until the Hispanic population significantly outnumbers the whites. Actually, if it was up to me, I would wish that Native Americans outnumbered everyone else in that state.

Growers mainly in California and Arizona have bankrolled an outside group’s efforts to deny U.S. Rep. Paul Gosar, R-Ariz., a fourth term in Washington, records show.

Western Growers, an Irvine-based organization that advocates for farmers in California, Arizona and Colorado, chipped in the most, $150,000, to help oust Gosar in the Republican primary.

The money went to Right Way Super PAC, a Virginia-based political action committee, which has spent at least $297,000 in recent weeks attacking Gosar and supporting Ray Strauss, his opponent. The group was vague in its reason for its opposition, though it likely revolves around Gosar's hard-line stance on border security and immigration reforms.

"We don’t expect every member of Congress to agree with us all the time, but we do expect legislators to try to work constructively with us to solve difficult problems affecting the livelihoods of their constituents,” said Dave Puglia, executive vice president of Western Growers, in a statement. “Mr. Gosar chose to denigrate our members and dismiss their legitimate concerns. We find that unacceptable.”
