White House physician says Trump in 'excellent health'
Source: The Hill
The White House physician announced Friday that President Trump is in "excellent health" following his first physical exam as commander in chief.
"The president's exam at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center went exceptionally well. The president is in excellent health and I look forward to briefing some of the details on Tuesday," Dr. Ronny Jackson said in a statement.
Trump told reporters earlier this week that he would be "surprised" if he received poor results from the physical.
"I think it's going to go very well," the president predicted. "I'll be very surprised if it doesn't."

(6,551 posts)He's 71, approaching obesity, with a steady diet of KFC, Big Macs with large fries, pastries, Twinkies, Oreos, shakes and Diet Cokes, never exercises, and takes a golf cart whenever he has to walk more than a few yards (on and off the course).
And he's in "excellent health."

He started active duty in 1995. He might have been in ROTC before that.
Whatever a RADM with 22 years active duty and an MD makes, that's what he's getting paid.

Unless he had all of his labs drawn in advance, I'm not sure how they can release this kind of info.

NO WAY in hell is that old, obese, mentally-deteriorating hog healthy.

There might not be obvious complications of a BMI like that but no qualified doctor would describe it as "excellent" health.

(10,299 posts)I'm sure these were the usual tests that doctors order, stuff that can be sent to any small lab and ran quickly. Those results most people get back in a day. Those tests take mere minutes to run.
There are some specialist tests that only certain labs can run. Those are where you have the wait of weeks. A comprehensive metabolic panel or even a testosterone test isn't one of those.

(5,857 posts)the recommended bloodwork for a physical can be done in the hospital in a few minutes. Many outpatient clinics can even do them.
Evidence says you should do a fasting glucose and cholesterol. Many physicians would add a liver panel and Hemoglobin A1C. All these can be done in the hospital or office.
