Trump: Keeping players in locker rooms during anthem 'almost as bad as kneeling'

Source: Politico

President Donald Trump on Wednesday weighed on the possibility that the NFL could keep players in locker rooms while the national anthem is performed, calling it “almost as bad as kneeling!”

"The NFL is now thinking about a new idea - keeping teams in the Locker Room during the National Anthem next season. That’s almost as bad as kneeling! When will the highly paid Commissioner finally get tough and smart? This issue is killing your league!....." the president wrote Wednesday morning during a flurry of tweets where he also attacked LaVar Ball, the father of one of the three UCLA basketball players arrested for shoplifting in China earlier this month.

The Washington Post reported Tuesday that several NFL owners believe the NFL could keep players in the locker room during the national anthem if protests continue throughout the season.

The issue would be discussed during off season, according to the report, but has backing from several league owners.

Mr. Trump,” Rozelle told him, according to Schupak, “as long as I or any of my heirs are involved in the NFL, you will never be a franchise owner in the league.”

THEN,the military after the debacle in Iraq decided to use the NFL as their recruiting vehicle. The NFL was eager to play the rah-rah nonsense when the saw the MILLIONS of taxpayer $$$ they would receive to play their part.

Or did ButterNUT just think that all of a sudden the NFL wanted to play poster boy for WAR recruiting??

What the hell is this ultranationalist bullshit! If football players do than fans must as well?

What about at work? Should we have the national anthem played at work and schools every morning while everyone stands?

Should we ask people’s kids to report un-American activity at home?

Trying to figure out what the logical endgame is here for them.
