Trump's $25K check to Gold Star family dated same day as Post report

Source: MSN/The Hill

A Gold Star family in North Carolina received a $25,000 check from President Trump dated the same day The Washington Post published a report that they were still waiting for it.

ABC 11 reports that Chris and Jessie Baldridge, whose son was killed in Afghanistan in June, received the check and a letter from Trump on Monday.

"I am glad my legal counsel has been able to finally approve tis contribution to you," Trump wrote. "Enclosed is a check for $25,000 - I hope this will make things a bit easier, but nothing will ever replace your son, Dillon. He was an American hero."

Trump told the family that he would "write you a check out of my personal account for $25,000," Chris Baldridge told The Washington Post last week.

So it was Trump's lawyer's fault not Donald's? OK I buy that.

Signing that check had to be painful for him.

""We are so moved and grateful, and we promise to use the money to honor Dillon's legacy," Jessie Baldridge said."

Good for the Baldridge family !

How did the newspaper know Trump was going to mail that letter that day? I suspect it's the crooked media working with the Deep State trying to make Trump look like an unsympathetic jack ass.

Nice job!

Late, but still.

Will he be sending $25,000 to Khizr khan or Myeshia Johnson?

Yeah, didn't think so.

was writing the check. He was shitting all over the Gold Star Family as they were burying their husband, father, son but no horrid attacks on a family that was complaining about a broken promise (and I have no problem with that). trump's racism trumps. he is so obvious and his crowd eats it up.

At least he didn't fraudulently backdate the check to make himself look better.

What can they expect, having picked a freaking five-time Draft-Dodging Casino Hustler to be the role model for their children. Sad.
