Firm behind explosive Trump-Russia dossier blasts Devin Nunes and refuses to comply with his sub

Attorneys for Glenn Simpson, Thomas Catan and Peter Fritsch — co-founders of Fusion GPS — will not comply with a subpoena issued by committee chair Rep. Devin Nunes (R-CA) in the congressional probe, reported Business Insider.

.

......................................

The Senate Judiciary Committee interviewed Simpson in a closed session for about 10 hours this summer, and the panel is considering whether to release a transcript of that.
............................

Levy argued that Nunes, who stepped aside from the Russia probe in early April after briefing Trump and reporters on classified intelligence, had violated his recusal and undermined the legitimacy of the investigation by issuing the subpoenas.

“...................................................

Rep. Eric Swalwell (D-CA), a member of the House Intelligence Committee, said only House Speaker Paul Ryan (R-WI) could preserve the panel’s Russian investigation from Nunes’ actions.

on August 28th so I am confused. Simpson's lawyers said after the testimony that he gave his permission to the Senate Judiciary Committee to release the transcripts of the testimony. Grassley then said that when he got back from Summer Recess he would speak to the rest of the committee and if they agreed to release it then he saw no problem in releasing it (he said so at a town hall). Then Lawrence followed it up with news that Hatch said he would vote to release the testimony transcripts too. I called the rest of the GOP senators urging them to release it.
If the Senate already has all of the information why does Nunes even want to see it? Aren't they all on the same side (the GOP side of course)?

A congressional investigation is not a court of law and therefore his argument is null. Congress makes the rules for Congress - it does not operate under the rules of the Judiciary.

The asswipe knows that and is stalling.

Can Congress not jail someone for contempt of court? Folks, enlighten me here.

Telling dumpf and others that their names came up in investigative surveillance tapes and FISA court documents etc.....

When the question is asked why he did that it becomes obvious he's dirty as hell, also a recusal from the investigation he was " in charge of" and then going back on his word tells you all you need to know about how deep in the conspiracy he may be.

He could have relayed the information to dumpf behind the scenes and no one would be the wiser, he flat out ran to the white house to tell dumpf, this alone makes obvious he is involved in some way that scared the hell out of him.

I bet his name is very familiar to Muellers investigation and we don't know a fraction of his involvement yet.

And it's now obvious he's part of the attempt to discredit the Steele dossier and change it into a conspiracy involving Hillary Clinton just like Grassely is trying to.

I can't wait for Mueller to release his findings, I bet nunes name is in them.
