Senator Collins: Hard to imagine backing latest GOP health bill

Source: CNN

Sunday updated 9:21amET

CNN) — Sen. Susan Collins said Sunday morning that it would be "very difficult for me to imagine a scenario" where she would vote for Republicans' latest plan to repeal and replace Obamacare, but the Maine Republican said she wanted to wait for a Congressional Budget Office score of the Graham-Cassidy bill before rendering a final decision.

Collins said Friday that she was "leaning against" the bill, according to The Portland Press Herald, but she did not definitively rule out voting for it.

All this "I can't imagine" and "leaning against" just sounds like she's waiting for a bribe. Shit or get off the pot!

that might occur was she to commit to a "No" right now?

This was a thought I had concerning she and the senator from Alaska's ambiguity on this bill.

Plus, many in the Senate have not committed to voting "Yes" as yet and are probably hoping it never comes up for a vote. The GOPers in swing states sure don't want their name on this hateful bill if it comes to no purpose.

If it does, I feel confident one of those two will take a knee.

until Oct. 1st!!!!! Collins and Murkowski have not said NO yet...why? Because all weekend the Graham Cassidy bill is being fine tuned to benefit their two states. Also, they are really pressuring Paul and McCain to flip.
Please call (202)224-3121....THANK YOU!

If you saw the press coverage of both her and Murkowski coming home after their no votes on the last bill, the local airports were crowded with cheering constituents. Both senators were pretty happy about that. Ultimately, THAT's which side their bread is buttered on. She's playing coy now to keep other rethug's off her back.

It took several years to work out, Medicare, Medicaid, social security... same with ACA..

Congress can easily help improve ACA.
