Christie: Everybody knows now Trump Jr.'s meeting was a 'bad idea'

Source: CNN

Washington (CNN)New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie, a supporter and friend of President Donald Trump, said Sunday that Donald Trump Jr.'s meeting with a Russian lawyer in June of last year was a bad idea, but everyone would be best served to wait for special counsel Robert Mueller's findings on the matter.
"This meeting was ill-advised," Christie said on CNN's "State of the Union." "This is not something that should have happened. ... Everybody in retrospect knew this was a bad idea."
Christie said it was not yet clear whether Trump had known about the meeting, which took place in Trump Tower and included his son-in-law Jared Kushner and then-campaign chairman Paul Manafort.

The Republican governor also said it was unclear what role Trump played in crafting Trump Jr.'s initial response to news reports about the meeting, which Trump Jr. first said was "primarily" about adoption and its relation to US sanctions on Russia under the Magnitsky Act.
Within days of that first statement, as more details about the meeting became public, Trump Jr. posted emails on Twitter that showed he took the meeting in hopes of gaining damaging information on Hillary Clinton that would be provided as part of the Russian government's support for his father. 4. At this point why would anyone care what Christie thinks?

How is he even relevant anymore? Honestly, he needs to just ride off in the sunset never to be heard from again.

8. Do former Governors keep a security detail ?

Chrissy is probably going to need one and not to keep someone from kicking his ass, but because of his bully attitude...like that guy whose face he got in the other day. He's lucky it wasn't my old ass.

9. Christie believes he is politically maneuvering his way back into revelance.

You would have to imagine Christie towering way far above Trump's head on a tightrope with a mop in one hand and a traffic cone in the other as he attempts to direct media traffic his way whilst mopping over a messy set of circumstances . He must really love the meat loaf ! No doubt his invitation is set fast for delivery !

12. Chris Christie was closely involved in Trump's campaign last year

...but I doubt if he was invited to any of these Russian meetings.

I'm sure Christie's motive is to maneuver himself out of any suspicion that he might have been tied in.
If he saw or heard anything about the Trumps and the Russians last year, I'm quite sure he wanted no part of it.
Being a former prosecutor, he probably told them not to give him any details or involve him in any way.
(Which they were glad to do.)

my late cousin would have liked someone to say, "Everyone sees that, in retrospect, holding up the liquor store, and the bank, in order to get drug money, on the same day you were released from prison, is a bad idea. But let's move on."

No. A bad idea is wearing a man-bun. What they did was criminal.

We would welcome him with open arms': Governor Chris Christie invites Trump to sun himself on notorious stretch of beach at his summer house on the Jersey Shore.

18. Speaking of "bad ideas" you corrupt piece of shit governor, how about endorsing a racist pig for...

...the Presidency of the United States.

Christie has the unique distinction of having established himself as the worst Governor in New Jersey history, and we don't have a tradition here of electing good and great Governors, the last decent one having been Jim Florio, was actually defeated for reelection on the grounds he was honest, clean, practical and decent.

He should shut his self serving smart assed mouth, the idiot.
