BREAKING NEWS: President Trump has pushed out Reince Priebus, his chief of staff. He'll be replacedThis discussion thread was locked as off-topic by muriel_volestrangler (a host of the Latest Breaking News forum). WASHINGTON — Reince Priebus, the establishment Republican-turned-loyalist to President Trump who served as his White House chief of staff for the last six months, was pushed out on Friday in the latest convulsion in a chaos-wracked West Wing to which he had repeatedly failed to bring some semblance of order. Convinced that Mr. Priebus was not strong enough, Mr. Trump has been talking about bringing in “a general” as chief of staff and chose John F. Kelly, the retired Marine four-star general serving as secretary of homeland security. But some of his advisers oppose that idea, arguing that Mr. Trump needs someone more in tune with the nationalist political movement that helped propel him to the White House. 17. Nope, just pop some more corn and sit back and enjoy the spectacle
of everybody in the WH eating each other alive. And remember, this isn't our mess and their party is shutting us out of doing anything to fix it.
That's two down, Spicer and Priebus. My guess is that a lot more will find it impossible to work around Moochy. I said from the beginning that people will be picked off one by one, isolating Dumpster Fire. Once he's completely isolated, that's it. The best part is that he seems to be isolating himself by his poor personnel decisions and yes, that's an understatement. |

23. That's the BIG question isn't it?
When do the generals put their heads together and decide this can not stand. Trump's juvenile general obsession may be his downfall. They are all a thousand times smarter than he is and are masters of war gaming.

5. KGOP Fascist Coup, Inc. nearly complete
They have pissed all over America and democracy, and now they are finishing up by pissing on the old guard republicans who let themselves be suckered into voting for a casino hustler to be their very own (ha ha) ignoble republican Draft-Dodger-in-Chief.
Sucks to be a TreasonWeasel republican. |

9. So who will be the new Secretary of Homeland Security?
Do you suppose this is one of the generals he consulted regarding the transgender ban?
How bizarre does this have to get before even the Republicans can't take it anymore? |
