Trump Told a Female Reporter to Be 'Quiet' After She Asked a Question During a Photo Op

Source: Glamour

On Monday, as Donald Trump posed for a photo with the current class of White House interns, Associated Press reporter Catherine Lucey tried to use the moment as an opportunity to ask the President about his recent comments about Jeff Sessions and the status of the Republican health care bill.

Trump's reply: An eye roll and curt command: Be "quiet."

As the interns laughed in response to Trump's dismissal of the reporter, he turned to them and told them that Lucey "was not supposed to" ask him questions and was "breaking a code."

But as the AP noted, it's not uncommon for reporters to ask the President a question or two during a staged photo op—like a White House intern photo. And typically, the President answers those questions. This, of course, isn't the first time Trump has accosted a female reporter. In 2015, he launched the first in a series of attacks against former Fox News anchor Megyn Kelly. Numerous NBC newswomen, too, have been the target of Trump's ire, including reporter Katy Tur—who Trump singled out multiple times—and, most recently, Morning Joe co-host Mika Brzezinski.

especially the parent of a young girl, allow their child to be a White House intern? Do you KNOW how long it's been since tRump has had an opportunity to grab a young lady by the ________? He's tense to the point of bursting blood vessels, Malaria won't get within grabbing distance, and Ivanka is too busy helping Jared hide assets, that he'll later remember, on his security forms. He's reached a boiling point, and _______ grabbing is his stand-by release mechanism.

Nope, nope, nope.......I wouldn't care what my daughter's major was in College, she'd have to change it. Working in a White House filled with incompetent ass kissers will teach her nothing about actual politics, or political administration. Letting her loose in the White House, with Der Gropenfuhrer on the prowl, is not what good parenting is all about.

And Trump is a symptom not a cause. Such a man could not rise to power in a well educated, moral society. If it hadn't been Trump, it would have been another megalomaniac.

So as the pressure builds, it gets harder and harder for him to maintain any semblance of composure---even for a simple photo shoot. He has been emboldened to say or do whatever enters that pig head of his. But I think he is approaching a point where the less devoted of his fans will start to wonder why he ALWAYS seems to have a burr under his saddle. The devoted, of course, love their snarky President. He really tells it like it is.

He makes it clear that, as women, they are meant to be seen and not heard. With men he acts the Alpha Male, reminding them of their lower status in the hierarchy, but still acknowledging that they are part of the hierarchy.
