8-year-old boy OK, dad arrested after report of abduction in Omaha

A man abducted his 8-year-old son Wednesday in southwest Omaha, law enforcement authorities alleged as they searched for the imperiled boy.
The Nebraska State Patrol issued an Amber Alert advisory about 6:15 p.m. for the boy, Driver Smith.
Wednesday evening, Fremont police arrested the boy’s father, Michael Westerholm, 33, according to the Nebraska State Patrol.
Driver was unharmed, police said, and the Amber Alert was canceled.

A child has been abducted from Omaha in/near Eastern Nebraska. The Omaha Police is looking for a child who was last seen at and is believed to be in danger. The child's name is Driver Smith.
He is a 8 old male.
The child may be in the company of Michael Westerholm, 9-13-1983. They may be traveling in a Grey 2008 Chevy Malibu NE UZZ 793 that was last seen heading Possibly WB.
