Source: Reuters

WASHINGTON (Reuters) - Donald Trump's presidential re-election campaign made a $50,000 payment in June to the law office now representing Donald Trump Jr. more than a week before revelations that the president's son had met with a Russian lawyer during the campaign.

The payment to the Law Offices of Alan S. Futerfas, dated June 27, was disclosed in a filing with the Federal Election Commission on Saturday. It was described as covering "legal consulting" fees. Separately, the campaign also paid Jones Day, the law firm that represented Trump's campaign during the election.

Spokesmen for Trump's re-election campaign and Futerfas could not be immediately reached for comment.

9. What they may have done

A lawyer working for TrumpCo bills $20k for some gem of wisdom. TrumpCo pays or not pays the invoice but passes it along with a *modest markup.

10. I hope they paid millions to themselves....why?

It's all the stupid LessEds money. Most couldn't afford it then and when they lose their health care might wish they had those 10's and 20's back.

14. Well, this explains the idiot's rallies.....

and ridiculous campaigning, six months in. He's trying to raise huge sums of money for the rapidly rising legal bills he's accumulating. For damned sure he and his spawn aren't going to pay. The RNC has responded to requests for legal fees with a hearty "we just don't know" . Dump is swindling funds for his own use, as per usual.
